Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพึ่อ (1) เปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของราคาใบสำคัญแสดงสิทธิชื้อหุ้นสามัญระหว่างราคาที่คำนวณจากแบบจำลองของ Black-Scholes กับราคาที่มีการชื้อขายในตลาดหลักทรพย์แห่งประเทศไทยตลอดช่วงอายุของใบสำคัญแสดงสิทธิฯ (2) วิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงของราคาใบสำคัญแสดงสิทธิชื้อทุนสามัญตลอดช่วงอายุของใบสำคัญแสดงสิทธิฯกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ เป็นใบสำคัญแสดงสิทธิชื้อหุ้นสามัญของ 35 บริษัทฯ ที่มีการจดทะเบียนชื้อขายในตลาดหลักทรพย์ฯ โดยมีระยะเวลาตั้งแต่จดทะเบียนชื้อขายจนครบอายุของใบสำคัญแสดงสิทธิฯ อยู่ในช่วงเดือนมกราคม พ.ศ. 2536 จนถึงเดือนธันวาคม พ.ศ.2543 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยใช้การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิโดยใช้ สถิติทดสอบที (t-test) และความถดถอยพหุคูณ ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ .05 ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) ราคาของใบสำคัญแสดงสิทธิชื้อหุ้นสามัญระหว่างราคาที่คำนวณได้จากแบบจำลองของ Black & Scholes กับราคาที่มีการซื้อขายในตลาดหลักทรัพย์ฯมีความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (2) ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงของราคาใบสำคัญแสดงสิทธิชื้อหุ้นสามัญในเชิงบวก ได้แก่ เงินปันผลจ่าย ความแปรปรวนจากอัตราผลตอบแทนของหุ้นสามัญ ค่าพรีเมียม ระยะเวลาการใช้สิทธิ และราคาหุ้นสามัญ ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงของราคาใบสำคัญแสดงสิทธิชื้อหุ้นสามัญในเชิงลบ ได้แก่ อัตราดอกเบี้ย และราคาใช้สิทธิส่วนผลกระทบจากจำนวนหุ้นสามัญที่เพิ่มขึ้น และค่า P/E ratio ไม่มีผลต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงของราคาใบสำคัญแสดงสิทธิชื้อหุ้นสามัญ
The objectives of study were: (1) to compare the difference of warrant price between the price calculated from Black-Scholes model and the price traded in the Stock Exchange of Thailand; (2) to analyse the factors which affect the change of warrant price. Samples of the study were warrants registered in the stock Exchange of Thailand during January 1993 to December 2000 of 35 companies. T test and multiple regression with significance level at .05 of secondary data were used to compare the warrant price and to analyse factors affecting the change of warrant price. The study found that (1) there was difference of warrant price with significance between the price calculated from Black-Scholes model and the price traded in the Stock Exchange of Thailand; (2) Factors having positive impact on warrant price were: dividend, volatility, premium, time to maturity and stock price, while factors having negative impact on warrant price were: interest rate and exercise price. However, number of stocks and P/E ratio did not affect the warrant price.
