การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนามีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1 ) ระดับของพฤติกรรมการบริหารความเสี่ยงของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วย (2) ปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล เจตคติต่อการบริหารความเสี่ยง และทักษะการติดต่อสื่อสารของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วย (3) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล เจตคติต่อการบริหารความเสี่ยง และทักษะการติดต่อสื่อสารกับพฤติกรรมการบริหารความเสี่ยงของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วยและ (4) ตัวแปรพยากรณ์ที่ร่วมทำนายพฤติกรรมการบริหารความเสี่ยงของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วย กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ หัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วยโรงพยาบาลศูนย์ สังกัดกระทรวงสาธารณสุข จำนวน 309 คน ซึ่งได้จากการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้นภูมิ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ไนการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถามปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล เจตคติต่อการบริหารความเสี่ยง ทักษะการติดต่อสื่อสารและพฤติกรรมการบริหารความเสี่ยงของหัวหนัาหอผู้ป่วย ซึ่งผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงตามเนื้อหาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ วิเคราะห์ค่าความเที่ยงของแบบสอบถามได้เท่ากับ .94, .90 และ .96 ตามลำคับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติแจกแจงความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ไคสแควร์สัมประสิทธิสหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน และวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณแบบเพิ่มตัวแปรเป็นขั้นตอน ผลการวิจัย พบว่า (1) พฤติกรรมการบริหารความเสี่ยงของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วยโดยรวมมีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับมาก (2) ค่าเฉลี่ยของเจตคติต่อการบริหารความเสี่ยงและทักษะการติดต่อสื่อสารเกื่ยวกับการบริหาร
ความเสี่ยงโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับสูง (3) วุฒิการศึกษา ประสบการณ์การทำงาน และการได้รับการอบรมไม่มีความสัมพันธ์ กับพฤติกรรมการบริหารความเสี่ยงของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วย สำหรับเจตคติมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกในระดับปานกลางและทักษะการติดต่อสื่อสารมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกในระดับสูงกับพฤติกรรมการบริหารความเสี่ยงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (4) เจตคติต่อการบริหารความเสี่ยง และทักษะการติดต่อสื่อสารสามารถร่วมกันพยากรณ์พฤติกรรมบริหารความเสี่ยงของหัวหน้าหอผู้ป่วยได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 โดยสามารถอธิบายความแปรปรวนของพฤติกรรมบริหารความเสี่ยงได้ร้อยละ 44 ( R2- .440) และสามารถสร้างสมการพยากรณ์ในรูปคะแนนดิบได้ดังนี้ พฤติกรรมการบริหารความเสี่ยง = -1.084 + .700 (ทักษะการติดต่อสื่อสาร) + .273 (เจตคติต่อการบริหารความเสี่ยง)
The purposes of this descriptive study were; (I) to investigate the level of risk management behaviors of head nurses at regional hospitals and medical centers; (2) to study personal factors, altitudes towards risk management, and communication skills of head nurses, (3) to explore the correlation among personal factors, attitudes towards risk management, communication skills, and risk management behaviors of head nurses; and (4) to identify the predictor variables of risk management behaviors of head nurses. The sample comprised 309 head nurses who worked at regional hospitals and medical centers under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Public Health. They were selected by stratified random sampling Questionnaires were used as research tools and comprised four sections personal factors, altitudes towards risk management, communication skills, and risk management behaviors of head nurses. The questionnaires were tested for validity and reliability. The reliability of the second, the third, and the fourth sections were .94, .90, and .96 respectively. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Chi-Square test, Pearson's product moment correlation, and stepwise multiple regression The major findings were as follows: (1) head nurses rated their risk management behaviors at the high level; (2) they rated their attitudes towards their risk management and communication skills at the high level; (3) their educational level, working experience, and training did not correlate with their risk management behaviors. There were significantly positive relationships between risk management behaviors of head nurses and (a) their attitudes (r = .551) and (b) their communication skills (r «.650); (4) their attitudes towards risk management and communication skills predicted their risk management behaviors. These predictors accounted for 44% (R1 - .440). Finally, the predictive equation is constructed below Risk management behaviors- -1.084 + .700 communication +273 attitude towards risk management.
