Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถการสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ในจังหวัดภูเก็ตก่อนการเรียนและหลังเรียนโดยใช้สถานการณ์จำลอง และ (2) ประเมินความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้สถานการณ์จำลอง กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 จำนวน 30 คน ที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2560 โรงเรียนเทศบาลปลูกปัญญาในพระอุปถัมภ์ จังหวัดภูเก็ต ซึ่งได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ (1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้สำหรับการเรียนการสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้สถานการณ์จำลอง (2) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถด้านการสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษ และ (3) แบบประเมินความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้สถานการณ์จำลอง สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าที ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า (1) ความสามารถด้านการสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 จังหวัดภูเก็ต หลังการเรียนโดยใช้สถานการณ์จำลองสูงกว่าความสามารถดังกล่าวก่อนการเรียนโดยใช้สถานการณ์จำลอง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และ (2) นักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้สถานการณ์จำลองในระดับมาก
The purposes of this research were (1) to compare English conversation abilities of Mathayom Suksa IV students in Phuket province before and after learning with the use of simulations; and (2) to study the students’ satisfaction with English learning with the use of simulations. The research sample consisted of 30 Mathayom Suksa IV students studying in the second semester of the 2017 academic year at Tessaban Pluk Panya School under the Royal Patronage in Phuket province, obtained by multi-stage sampling. The instruments used in this study were (1) learning management plans for English conversation learning with the use of simulations; (2) a test on English conversation ability; and (3) a scale to assess satisfaction with English learning with the use of simulations. Statistics employed for data analysis were the mean, standard division, and t-test. The research findings revealed that (1) the post-learning English conversation ability of Mathayom Suksa IV students in Phuket province who learned English conversation with the use of simulations was significantly higher than their pre-learning counterpart ability at the .05 level; and (2) the students’ satisfaction with English learning with the use of simulations was at the high level
