Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาปัจจัยทำนายด้านแรงจูงใจใฝ่สัมฤทธิ์การรับรู้โลกของอาชีพและการทำงาน ความคาดหวังของครอบครัว และชื่อเสียงสถาบันที่จะศึกษาต่อ (2) ศึกษาการเลือกศึกษาต่อของนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย (3) ศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยทำนายกับการเลือกศึกษาต่อของนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย และ (4) ศึกษาอำนาจการพยากรณ์การเลือกศึกษาต่อของนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายจากปัจจัยทำนาย
กลุ่มตัวอย่าง เป็นนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายโรงเรียนปทุมเทพวิทยาคาร จังหวัดหนองคาย ในสังกัด สำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยม เขต 21 จำนวน 374 คน จากประชากรนักเรียนจำนวน 17,128 คน คำนวณขนาดตัวอย่างโดยใช้วิธีของยามาเน่ ที่ระดับความเชื่อมั่นร้อยละ 95 และคัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยวิธีการสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้น เครื่องมือการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสอบถามปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการเลือกศึกษาต่อของนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย มีค่าความเที่ยงเท่ากับ .88 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์และการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณ
ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า (1) นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายมีปัจจัยการทำนายด้านแรงจูงใจใฝ่สัมฤทธิ์ การรับรู้โลกของอาชีพและการทำงาน และความคาดหวังของครอบครัวอยู่ในระดับมาก และปัจจัยการทำนายด้านชื่อเสียงของสถาบันที่จะศึกษาต่อ อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด (2) การเลือกศึกษาต่อของนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (3) ปัจจัยด้านแรงจูงใจใฝ่สัมฤทธิ์การรับรู้โลกของอาชีพและการทำงาน และความคาดหวังของครอบครัว มีความสัมพันธ์กับการเลือกศึกษาต่อนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายในทางบวกอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และ (4) ปัจจัยทำนายด้านแรงจูงใจใฝ่สัมฤทธิ์ (X1) การรับรู้โลกของอาชีพและการทำงาน (X2) และความคาดหวังของครอบครัว (X3) สามารถพยากรณ์การเลือกศึกษาต่อของนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายได้ร้อยละ 34.5 โดยสามารถเขียนเป็นสมการทำนายได้ ดังนี้

สมการพยากรณ์ในรูปคะแนนมาตรฐาน Z = .318x2+ .225x1+ .175x3
The purposes of this research were (1) to study the predicting factors of achievement motivation, perception of the world of career and work, family expectation, and reputation of institution; (2) to study the choosing of further learning program of upper secondary students; (3) to study the relationships of predicting factors with the choosing of further learning program of upper secondary students; and (4) to study the power to predict the choosing of further learning program of upper secondary students with the use of predicting factors as the predictors. The research sample consisted of 374 students from Prathumthep Witthayakan School in Nong Khai province under the Secondary Education Service Area Office 21 from the total students of 17,128, obtained by stratified random sampling. The sample size was determined with the use of Yamane’s formula for calculating the sample size at 95 percent confidence interval. The research instrument was a questionnaire on factors affecting the choosing of further learning program of upper secondary students, with reliability coefficient of .87. Statistics employed for data analysis were the percentage, mean, standard deviation, multiple correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. The research findings showed that (1) the upper secondary students’ predicting factors of achievement motivation, perception of the world of career and work, and family expectation were rated at the high level; while their predicting factor of reputation of institution was rated at the highest level; (2) the overall rating mean for their choosing of further learning program was at the high level; (3) the factors of achievement motivation, perception of the world of career and work, and family expectation correlated positively and significantly with the choosing of further learning program of the students at the .05 level of statistical significance; and (4) the predicting factors of achievement motivation, perception of the world of career and work, and family expectation could be combined to predict the choosing of further learning program of the students by 34.5 percent. The predicting equations in the forms of raw and standardized scores were as shown below: Y = .192 + .401X2 + .226X1 + .153X3 Z = .318X2 + .225X1 + .175X3
