Abstract
การวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา (1) ภาพลักษณ์ของหญิงไทยในวรรณกรรมที่ได้รับรางวัลซีไรต์ของนักเขียนหญิง และ (2) กลวิธีการใช้ภาษาในวรรณกรรมที่ได้รับรางวัลซีไรต์ของนักเขียนหญิง การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ เก็บข้อมูลจากวรรณกรรมที่ได้รับรางวัลซีไรต์ของนักเขียนหญิง 5 เรื่อง ได้แก่ ปูนปิดทอง ใบไม้ที่หายไป อัญมณีแห่งชีวิต ช่างสำราญ และความสุขของกะทิ ใช้การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการวิเคราะห์เชิงพรรณนา ผลการวิจัยพบว่าภาพลักษณ์ของหญิงไทยในวรรณกรรมที่ได้รับรางวัลซีไรต์ของนักเขียนหญิงจำแนกได้ 4 ด้าน คือ 1) ด้านบุคลิกภาพ แบ่งเป็นบุคลิกลักษณะภายนอกและลักษณะนิสัย บุคลิกลักษณะ ภายนอกของผู้หญิงก่อนแต่งงานส่วนมากจะมีรูปร่างหน้าตาสวยและมีลักษณะดึงดูดใจ ส่วนผู้หญิงที่แต่งงานแล้วจะมีลักษณะภายนอกเปลี่ยนแปลงไปตามวัย ในด้านลักษณะนิสัย พบว่าผู้หญิงมีลักษณะของหญิงไทยสมัยเก่า ผู้หญิงที่เริ่มมีการเปลี่ยนแปลง และผู้หญิงมีความคิดแบบหัวสมัยใหม่ 2) ความสัมพันธ์กับบุคคลและสังคมแบ่งเป็นความสัมพันธ์ของหญิงไทยกับบุคคลในครอบครัว และความสัมพันธ์ของหญิงไทยกับบุคคลในสังคมโดยความสัมพันธ์ของหญิงไทยกับบุคคลในครอบครัวมีทั้งความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีมีความสุข และความสัมพันธ์ในทางไม่ดี แตกร้าว ส่วนความสัมพันธ์ของหญิงไทยกับบุคคลในสังคม พบว่ามีความสัมพันธ์ในฐานะเพื่อนความสัมพันธ์ในฐานะคนรัก และความสัมพันธ์ในฐานะผู้ร่วมงาน 3) ด้านแนวทางในการดำเนินชีวิต ภาพลักษณ์หญิงไทยมีแนวทางในการดำเนินชีวิตอย่างเรียบง่าย ปฏิบัติตามคำสอนทางศาสนา และรับวัฒนธรรมตะวันตกเป็นแบบในการดำเนินชีวิต 4) ด้านสถานภาพและบทบาท พบผู้หญิงในฐานะบุตรี ฐานะภรรยา และฐานะมารดา สำหรับกลวิธีการใช้ภาษาสื่อภาพลักษณ์ของผู้หญิงพบการใช้คำ 7 ลักษณะ คือ คำสุภาพ คำไม่สุภาพ คำแสดงอารมณ์ความรู้สึก คำหลาก คำซ้อน คำซ้ า และคำภาษาต่างประเทศ ในส่วนของโวหารภาพพจน์ที่สื่อ ภาพลักษณ์ของผู้หญิง พบการใช้โวหารภาพพจน์ 4 ลักษณะ คือ ภาพพจน์แบบอุปมา อุปลักษณ์ สัญลักษณ์และ

This research was to study 1) Thai women’s images in literatures that received the S.E.A Write Award by female writers and 2) strategies of using language in these works. The research was qualitative. Data collection was from 5 literary works, Pun Pit Thong (Cement Covered by Gold), Bai Mai Tee Hai Pai (Lost Leaves), Anyamanee Haeng Cheewit (Gem of Life), Changsamran (Changsamran Family) and Khwamsuk Khong Kati (Kati’s Happiness). The descriptive analysis method was used to analyze the data. It was found that there were 4 aspects of Thai women expressed in literary works receiving S.E.A Write Award by female writers 1) Characters were analyzed in terms of appearance and personality. It was found that before marriage, most of women were beautiful and attractive. But their figure would be changed due to age. On their personalities, it was found that they were like traditional Thai women, but changing and becoming modern. 2) On relationships with other people in society, the relationships were classified into family relationships and relationships with other people in society. It was found that those women were happy however the relationships among people in their families were not so good. As for the relationships with other people in society, these consisted of friends, girlfriends and colleagues. 3) On the aspect of leading their life, the image of Thai women is shown having a simple way of life following religious teachings and accepting Western culture to apply in their way of life. 4) On the aspect of status and roles, they had roles as daughters, wives and mothers. On the strategy of using language to reveal women’s images, it was found that there were 7 features of word use: politeness, impoliteness, feeling expression, synonyms, compound words, repetition, and foreign words. On the rhetorical devices to reveal women’s image, it was found that four were used- simile, metaphor, signs and allusion.
