โครงสร้างเงินทุนของบริษัทจดทะเบียนในกลุ่มเกษตรและอุตสาหกรรมอาหารในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย

Abstract

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาการใช้หนี้สินในโครงสร้างเงินทุนของบริษัทจดทะเบียนในกลุ่มเกษตรและอุตสาหกรรมอาหารในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย และ (2) วิเคราะห์ปัจจัยกำหนดโครงสร้างเงินทุน ของบริษัทจดทะเบียนในกลุ่มเกษตรและอุตสาหกรรมอาหารในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย การศึกษานี้ศึกษาจากประชากร คือ บริษัทที่จดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทยกลุ่มเกษตรและอุตสาหกรรมอาหาร ที่มีข้อมูลครบถ้วนและเป็นไปตามเงื่อนไขของการศึกษา มีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 22 บริษัท รวม 110 ชุดข้อมูล ระยะเวลาที่ใช้การศึกษาจำนวน 5 ปี ตั้งแต่ 1 มกราคม 2558 ถึง 31 ธันวาคม 2562 ข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการศึกษาเป็นข้อมูลทุติยภูมิประกอบด้วยอัตราส่วนทางการเงินและข้อมูลทางการเงินอื่นที่เกี่ยวข้องสำหรับระยะเวลาเดียวกัน การศึกษานี้ใช้สมการถดถอยในลักษณะ Panel แบบ Fixed Effects และ Random Effects สถิติที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าสูงสุด ค่าต่ำสุด และค่าที ผลการศึกษาพบว่า (1) บริษัทจดทะเบียนในกลุ่มเกษตรและอุตสาหกรรมอาหารใช้หนี้สินรวมในโครงสร้างเงินทุนโดยเฉลี่ยคิดเป็นร้อยละ 36.04 ในขณะที่บริษัทที่ใช้หนี้สินสูงสุดและต่ำสุดประมาณร้อยละ 90 และร้อยละ 0.30 ตามลำดับ หากพิจารณาถึงหนี้สินระยะยาวในโครงสร้างเงินทุน บริษัทจดทะเบียนส่วนใหญ่ในกลุ่มเกษตรและอุตสาหกรรมอาหารใช้หนี้สินระยะยาวโดยเฉลี่ยคิดเป็นร้อยละ 10.90 ใช้หนี้สินระยะยาวสูงสุดและต่ำสุดคิดเป็นร้อยละ 56.90 และร้อยละ 0.16 ตามลำดับ และ (2) อัตราผลตอบแทนต่อสินทรัพย์รวมและสภาพคล่อง เป็นปัจจัยสำคัญกำหนดโครงสร้างเงินทุนของบริษัทจดทะเบียนในกลุ่มเกษตรและอุตสาหกรรมอาหารในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย โดยมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05

The objectives of this study were (1) to study the use of debt in the capital structure, and (2) to analyze the determinants of capital structure of listed companies in the agro and food industry group in the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). This study concentrated on population, all listed companies in the agro and food industry group in the SET with completed data and according to the study conditions of 22 companies, total 110 data. The study period was 5 years from 1st January 2015 to 31st December 2019. The data used in the study was secondary data consisting of financial ratios and other relevant financial information for the same period. The panel regression both Fixed Effects and Random Effects were employed to reach the objectives. Statistics used in the study were mean, standard deviation, minimum, maximum and t-statistics. The results revealed that (1) listed companies in the agro and food industry group use debt in the capital structure by the average of 36.04%. The maximum and the minimum use of debt were about 90%, and 0.30%, respectively. By considering the use of long-term debt in the capital structure, most listed companies used its by the average of 10.90%, while the highest and the lowest were 56.90% and 0.16%, respectively. (2) Return on total assets and liquidity were the determinants of capital structure of listed companies in the agro and food industry group in the Stock Exchange of Thailand with the statistical significance at 0.05 level.
