การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) พฤติกรรมการใชับริการเครือข่ายสังคม 2) ปัจจัย
จูงใจในการใช้บริการเครือข่ายสังคม 3) ความพึงพอใจในการใช้บริการเครือข่ายสังคมของผู้สูงอายุในเขตอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ 4) เปรียบเทียบลักษณะทางประชากรของผู้สูงอายุในเขตอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ กับความพึงพอใจในการใช้บริการเครือข่ายสังคม และ 5) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างแรงจูงใจในการใช้บริการเครือข่ายสังคมกับความพึงพอใจในการใช้บริการเครือข่ายสังคมของผู้สูงอายุในเขตอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ การวิจัยครั้งนี้ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ ผู้สูงอายุในเขตอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 400 คน สุ่มตัวอย่างแบบหลายขั้นตอน โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บข้อมูล วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวน และค่าสัมประสิทธิสหสัมพันธ์แบบเทียร์สัน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ผู้สูงอายุในเขตอำเภอเมืองเชียงใหม่ ส่วนใหญ่ใช้เครือข่ายสังคม ผ่านช่องทาง โทรศัพท์มือถือ ไดยใช้เฟชบุ๊กมากที่สุด มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อติดต่อสื่อสารภายในครอบครัว โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างใช้เครือข่ายสังคมทุกวันต่อสัปดาห์โดยเฉพาะในช่วงเย็น 2) ผู้สูงอายุที่ใช้เครือข่ายสังคมมีแรงจูงใจโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก เพราะการใช้งานง่าย สะดวกและทันเหตุการณ์ของข้อมูลข่าวสาร 3) ผู้สูงอายุที่ใช้เครือข่ายสังคมมีความพึงพลใจโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยเฉพาะการสนทนาเพื่อสร้างความใกล้ชิดหรือเชื่อมความสัมพันธ์กับสมาชิกในครอบครัว
4) ผู้สูงอายุที่มีอายุการศึกษาและรายได้เฉลี่ยต่อเดือนแตกต่างกันมีความพึงพอใจในการใช้เครือข่ายสังคมแตกต่างกันที่ระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ 0.05 และ 5) แรงจูงใจในการใช้เครือข่ายสังคมมีความสัมพันธ์ความพึงพอใจในการใช้เครือข่ายสังคมของผู้สูงอายุในระดับสูงมากโดยมีค่าความสัมพันธ์เท่ากับ 0.916
The objectives of this research were to study I ) the social media network use behavior of senior citizens in Mueang District Chiang Mai Province; 2) their motivating factors for using social media networks;3) their satisfaction with social media networks; 4) the relationships between demographic factors and elders' satisfaction with social media networks; and5)the relationships between motivating factors and elders' satisfaction with social media networks. This was a survey research. The sample population was 400 senior citizens living in District. Chiang Mai Province, chosen through multi-stage sampling. Data were collected using questionnaire, and analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, analysis of variance and Pearson’s correlated coefficient. The results showed that I) The majority of samples used social media networks through their mobile phones, facebook was used the most. Their mair objective was to communicate with their family members. They reported using socia media networks every day. usually in the evening. 2 ) The majority of sample’s motivation using social media networks because they perceived them as easy to use. convenient and up-to-date with the latest news. 3) The sampling group had a high level of satisfaction with them overall, and were particularly satisfied with the aspect of having conversations to build close link and good relations with family members. 4) The demographic factors of age, educational level and monthly income were related to elders' level of satisfaction with using social media networks to a statistically significant degree (p< 0.05). 5 ) Elders' level of motivation to use social media networks was strongly related to elders’ level of satisfaction with using social media networks; with a correlation value of 0.916
