ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการผลิตมังคุดของเกษตรกรในอำเภอหลังสวน จังหวัดชุมพร

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาข้อมูลพื้นฐานของเกษตรกรผู้ปลูกมังคุด และ 2) วิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการผลิตมังคุดของเกษตรกรในอำเภอหลังสวน จังหวัดชุมพรการศึกษาใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล สุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยวิธีการสุ่มอย่างง่าย ได้กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นเกษตรกรผู้ปลูกมังคุดจำนวน 400 ราย และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนาและสถิติเชิงอนุมาน ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าร้อยละ ค่าต่ำสุด ค่าสูงสุด ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการถดถอยพหุคูณด้วยวิธีลดรูปตัวแปรผลการศึกษา พบว่า 1) เกษตรกรกลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง ร้อยละ 61.25 อายุเฉลี่ย 57.37 ปี ได้รับการศึกษาต่ำกว่าปริญญาตรี ร้อยละ 89.25 มีที่ดินของตนเองเฉลี่ย 25.82 ไร่ มีหนี้สิน ร้อยละ 53.50 ส่วนใหญ่ไม่ได้เป็นสมาชิกกลุ่มเกษตรกร ร้อยละ 55.75 ไม่ได้เข้าร่วมอบรมการผลิต ร้อยละ 55.75 ไม่ได้รับการแนะนำจากภาครัฐ ร้อยละ 76.75 มีประสบการณ์ผลิตเฉลี่ย 18.79 ปี ใช้แรงงานจ้างเฉลี่ย 2.20 คน มีพื้นที่ปลูกเฉลี่ย 11.07 ไร่ ทำสวนในลักษณะสวนผสม ร้อยละ 97 ต้นทุนการผลิตเฉลี่ย 96,998.23 บาท/ปี รายได้จากการจำหน่ายเฉลี่ย 276,324.50 บาท/ปี การเก็บเกี่ยวผลผลิตเฉลี่ย 1,079.75 กิโลกรัม/ไร่ มีแหล่งน้ำไม่เพียงพอ ร้อยละ 65.75 และจำหน่ายผลผลิตผ่านพ่อค้าคนกลาง ร้อยละ 80.25 2) ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลในเชิงบวกต่อการผลิตมังคุดของเกษตรกร ได้แก่ แรงงานในครัวเรือน รายได้ครัวเรือน รายได้จากการจำหน่าย ต้นทุนการผลิต ปริมาณการใส่ปุ๋ยอินทรีย์ และการได้รับใบรับรองมาตรฐานการผลิตทางการเกษตรที่ดีและเหมาะสม ส่วนปัจจัยที่ส่งผลในเชิงลบต่อการผลิตมังคุดของเกษตรกร ได้แก่ แหล่งเงินทุนที่ใช้ในการผลิต และลักษณะการทำสวน

The objectives of this research were to 1) study basic information about mangosteen farmers and 2) analyze factors affecting mangosteen production of farmers in Lang Suan district, Chumphon province.The questionnaire was collected using simple random sampling from 400 mangosteen farmers. The descriptive and inferential statistics were used such as mean, percentage, minimum, maximum, standard deviation and multiple regression using a backward elimination approach.The result showed that 1) most of the sample farmers were female (61.25%), with an average age of 57.37 years, having a bachelor’s degree (89.25%), owning 25.82 rai of land, and having debts (53.50%). Over half (55.75%) were not members of the farmer group or did not participate in the production training (55.75%). The majority of the farmers did not receive advice or guidance from the government (76.75%). The average experience was 18.79 years, the hiring of labors was 2.20 persons, the planting area covered 11.07 rai being an integrated farming (97.00%), the cost plantations and net income stood at 96,998.23 and 276,324.50 baht per year respectively, and the yield was 1,079.75 kg per rai. Inadequate water sources was a major problem (65.75%), and the product was sold through the middleman (80.25%) 2) The factors positively affecting mangosteen production of farmers in positive sign included household labor, household income, income from the sale, production costs, the amount of organic fertilizer and Good Agricultural Practice Certification. The factors negatively affecting the production were the source of funds used in the production and integrated farming practice.
