Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาสภาพและความต้องการห้องสมุดมีชีวิต (2) นำเสนอรูปแบบห้องสมุดมีชีวิต (3) ตรวจสอบความเหมาะสม และความเป็นไปได้ของรูปแบบห้องสมุดมีชีวิต ศูนย์การเรียนรู้วังจันทรเกษม กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ
กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ (1) ประชาชนที่ใช้บริการที่ห้องสมุดศูนย์การเรียนรู้วังจันทรเกษม กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ จำนวน 400 คน และ (2) ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจำนวน 10 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ (1) แบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับสภาพ ปัญหา และความต้องการรูปแบบห้องสมุดมีชีวิต (2) รูปแบบห้องสมุดมีชีวิต และ (3) แบบสนทนากลุ่มเกี่ยวกับความเหมาะสมและความเป็นไปได้ของรูปแบบห้องสมุดมีชีวิต การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา
ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า (1) สภาพปัจจุบัน และปัญหาของห้องสมุดมีชีวิต ศูนย์การเรียนรู้ วังจันทรเกษม อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ปัญหาส่วนใหญ่คือเรื่องการบริการ ส่วนความต้องการส่วนใหญ่คือด้านสาระและกิจกรรม (2) รูปแบบห้องสมุดมีชีวิต ศูนย์การเรียนรู้วังจันทรเกษม กระทรวงศึกษาธิการที่นำเสนอ ประกอบด้วย 5 ด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านกายภาพ ควรจัดหาทรัพยากรสารสนเทศที่มีคุณภาพ มีความทันสมัย ให้มีจำนวนเพียงพอ ด้านสาระและกิจกรรม ควรส่งเสริมให้มีการจัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการอ่านที่หลากหลาย ด้านการบริการ ควรขยายเวลา เปิด ปิดห้องสมุด และมีบริการยืม คืนหนังสือและสื่อต่างๆ ให้กับผู้ใช้บริการภายนอก ด้านบุคลากร ควรจัดหาบุคลากรที่มีวุฒิการศึกษาทางด้านบรรณารักษศาสตร์ หรือมีความรู้ความสามารถและประสบการณ์ด้านงานบรรณารักษ์โดยตรง ด้านการบริหารจัดการ ควรจัดงบประมาณในการหาเครื่องอำนวยความสะดวกในการทำงานหรือให้บริการ และควรมีการประชาสัมพันธ์ให้บุคคลภายนอกมาใช้บริการให้มากยิ่งขึ้น และ (3) ผลการตรวจสอบความเหมาะสม และความเป็นไปได้ของรูปแบบห้องสมุดมีชีวิต ศูนย์การเรียนรู้วังจันทรเกษม กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ พบว่ามีความเหมาะสมและเป็นไปได้
The purposes of this research were (1) to investigate the state and problems of, and the needs for the living library; (2) to propose a living library model. (3) to verify the appropriateness and feasibility of the proposed living library model in Wangchandrakasem Learning Center, Ministry of Education. The research sample consisted of (1) 400 people who used library services in Wangchandrakasem Learning Center, Ministry of Education; and (2) ten experts. The employed research instruments were (1) a questionnaire on the state and problems of, and needs for the living library; (2) the prototype model of a living library; and (3) a focus group discussion form on the appropriateness and feasibility of the living library model. Data were analyzed using the percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The research findings were as fellows (1) the state and problems of the living library in Wangchandrakasem Learning Center were rated at the moderate level; the majority of problems were on the provision of library services; while the needs were for contents of the library resources and library activities; (2) the proposed living library model in Wangchandrakasem Learning Center comprised guidelines for development of five aspects of living library as follows: on the physical aspect, the library should acquire sufficient up-to-date and high quality information resources; on the contents and activities aspect, it should promote a variety of reading promotion activities; on the service aspect, the library opening and closing times should be extended, and the circulation service for books and other materials should be offered to outsiders; on the personnel aspect, it should acquire the personnel with qualifications in library science or with knowledge, ability and direct experiences concerning library work; and on the management aspect, sufficient budget should be allocated for facilitating the work performance and service provision; and (3) regarding verification results of the proposed model of living library in Wangchandrakasem Learning Center, Ministry of Education, it was found that the proposed model was appropriate and feasible.
