Abstract
งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาประวัติขององค์จตุคามรามเทพ ระหว่าง พ.ศ. 2530-2550 (2) ศึกษาลักษณะความเชื่อองค์จตุคามรามเทพ (3) ศึกษาอิทธิพลขององค์จตุคามรามเทพที่มีต่อเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และวัฒนธรรมของจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ประกอบด้วย พระสงฆ์ จำนวน 3 รูป พราหมณ์ จำนวน 2 คน ทายาท พล.ค.ต.ชุนพันธรักษ์ราชเดช จำนวน 2 คน นักวิชาการจำนวน 3 คน พ่อค้าประชาชนจำนวน 20 คน รวมทั้งสิ้น 30 คน เครึ่องมึอที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์ และแบบสังเกต การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้การพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า (1) องค์จตุคามรามเทพก่อนสรัางวัตคถุมงคลหมายถึง เทวดา เทพ กษัตริย์ และเจ้าเมึองและเป็นวัตถุมงคลที่สร้างขึ้นเป็นครั้งแรกในปี พ.ศ. 2530 เพื่อเป็นที่ระลึกในการสร้างศาลหลักเมึองจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ส่วนในช่วง พ.ศ. 2543-2550 เป็นวัตถุมงคลที่ได้รับความนิยมสูงสุด (2) ลักษณะความเชื่อที่มีต่อองค์จตุคามรามเทพ คือ 1) เชื่อว่า องค์จตุคามรามเทพมีดวามเมตตาต่อมวลมนุษย์เป็นเทพหรือเทวดาที่คอยปกป้องรักษาเมืองและดูแลพระบรมสารีริกธาตุ 2) เชื่อตามพุทธศาสนานิกายมหายาน ที่มีการสร้างรูปเคารพเพื่อใช้สำหรับสักการะและอธิษฐานขอพร 3) เชื้อจากกุศโลบายของคนโบราณที่ด้องการอบรมขัดเกลาให้คนเกรงกลัวต่อบาป 4) เชื่อในเรื่อง ขอได้ไหว้รับ หรึอการบนบาน การอธิษฐาน 5) เชึ่อว่าผู้นับถึอจะต้องเป็นผู้ที่มีคุณธรรม และเป็นคนดี 6) เชื้อในพิธีกรรมอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ทางศาสนาพราหมณ์ 7) เชื่อในสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ อิทธิฤทธิ์ปาฏิหาริย์และทางไสยศาสตร์ของวัตถุมงคล คาถาอาคม เครื่องรางของขลัง และ (3) อิทธิพลของความเชื่อองค์จตุคามรามเทพมีผลต่อเศรษฐกิจ ทำให้เกิด
รายได้ เกิดอาชีพ ด้านสังคมเกิดกลุ่มสังคมใหม่ เช่น กลุ่มอาชีพปลุกเสก กลุ่มค้าขาย กลุ่มเช่าพระ ด้านครอบครัวทำให้ครอบครัว มีความสามัคคีรักใคร่ปรองดองกัน ด้านชุมชน เกิดชุมชนเช่าพระบริเวณวัดพระมหาธาตุวรมหาวิหารด้านชนชั้นเกิดการเลื่อนชั้นในสังคม ด้านสหจร ทำให้เกิดสมาคมสร้างวัตถุมงคล ด้านวัฒนธรรม สถาบันครอบครัว
มีความมั่นคงเข็มฺแข็ง สมาธิในครอบครัวมีความเชื่อและศรัทธาในศาสนา สถาบันการศึกษามีการถ่ายทอดความรู้ในเรื่องประวัติความเป็นมาขององค์จตุคามรามเทพ สถาบันศาสนา ช่วยให้สถาบันศาสนาได้รับความเชื่อถึอและศรัทธาเพิ่มขึ้น สถาบันเศรษฐกิจ ทำให้เศรษฐกิจของจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราชดีขึ้น ประชาชนมีงานทำ มีรายได้เพิ่มขึ้น
สถาบันคมนาคมขนส่ง ทำให้การคมนาคมมีการขยายตัว สรัางรายได้ให้กับองค์กรต่าง ๆ สถาบันวิทยาศาสดร์และเทคโนโลยี มีการส่งเสริมเทคโนโลยีด้านการออกแบบ การหล่อพระ และการพิมพ์ให้เจริญก้าวหน้าขึ้น
The objectives of this research were (1) to study the background history of jatukam Rammathep between 2530 - 2550 (Buddhist Era), (2) to study the belief characteristics on Jatukam Rammathep and (3) to study the influence of Jatukam Rammathep on the economy, society and culture of Nakorn Sri Thamanarat Province. The samples of this qualitative research comprised 3 Buddhist manks, 2 Brahmans, 2 hiers of the police major general Khun Phan Tharak (the person who created Jatukam Rammathep), 3 academics and 20 businessmen totaling 30 persons. The method applied for this research was interview and observation and the description analysis. The conclusions of the research were (1) Before the creation of sacred object, Jatukam Rammathep, was a deva, god, guardian spirit, king and governor of a province Jatukam Rammathep was a sacred object created for the first time in the year 2530 and as a keppsake on an occasion of an establishment in the center of the city of Nakom Sri Thammamarat province during the period of 2543 - 2550 ะ (2) the beliefs in Jatukam Rammathep were categorized as in the following: 1) Jatukam Rammathep has mercy as a deity to mankind and was regarded as a god or deity who guarded over the Buddha’s relics. 2) According to the sect of Buddhism, the creation of statues was for people’s worship and prayer for blessing. 3) The ancient belief that people needed to be trained for refining fear to sin. 4) Belief in respect for the prayer or vow. 5) Belief that those who respected must possess moral and be good people. 6) Belief in a holy ritual of Brahminism. 7) Belief in the sacred, miraculous supernatural power and black magic talisman of the sacred object: (3) the effects of Jatukam Rammathep on the economy were that it created new income and jobs. For the society, there were the new groups of society such as the group of enchantment and statue traders. As for family, there was harmany among the family members. For the community, there was a community of Buddha image rental and trade in the area of Wat Prasrimahathat. Concerning the Social status, there was a change in the social association, such as an association for building the sacred objects was set up. In terms of culture, there was a stronger stability in family in that the family members had more belief and faith in the religion. At the educational institutions, the history and background of Jatukam Rammathep had been taught in schools and this assisted in gaining more belief and respect in the religion. For the economy of Nakom Sri Thamamarat, there was more employment and an increase in people’s income. The transportation hed also been progressive and increased, which subsequently created more income. Moreover, for transportation, there was an improvement on the design technology comprising Buddha casting and printing.
