Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุเพื่อศึกษา (1) การใช้สื่อประชาสัมพันธ์เพื่อสร้างจิตสาธารณะ ของนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาโรงเรียนพระหฤทัยนนทบุรีในเครือคาทอลิก (2) การเปิดรับสื่อประชาสัมพันธ์ (3) พฤติกรรมจิตสาธารณะของนักเรียนฯ (4) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพฤติกรรมการเปิดรับสื่อประชาสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมจิตสาธารณะของนักเรียนฯ และ (5) เสนอกลยุทธ์ในการจัดทำสื่อประชาสัมพันธ์เพื่อพัฒนาจิตสาธารณะ การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบผสานวิธี การวิจัยเชิงปริมาณกลุ่มตัวอย่างคือนักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 – นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 จำนวน 897 คน ใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือวิจัยคือ แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าสหสัมพันธ์เพียร์สัน ส่วนการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักคือ หัวหน้าผู้ปฏิบัติงานโครงการจิตอาสา หัวหน้าฝ่าย จิตตาภิบาล และหัวหน้าฝ่ายประชาสัมพันธ์รวม 3 คน เครื่องมือวิจัยคือ แบบสัมภาษณ์ และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการพรรณาวิเคราะห์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) การใช้สื่อประชาสัมพันธ์ ใช้สื่อแบบผสมผสานแต่จะเน้นไปที่สื่อบุคคล ซึ่งได้แก่ คุณครู เพื่อน เจ้าหน้าที่ ซึ่งเป็นตัวกลางในการถ่ายทอดข้อมูลข่าวสารไปยังกลุ่มเป้าหมาย เพื่อให้กลุ่มเป้าหมายเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมกับกิจกรรมของโครงการฯ (2) การเปิดรับสื่อประชาสัมพันธ์พบว่า มีระดับการเปิดรับมากที่สุดคือ สื่อบุคคล และสื่อประชาสัมพันธ์เสียงตามสายของโรงเรียน (3) พฤติกรรมจิตสาธารณะพบว่า ทั้งจิตสำนึกต่อตนเองและด้านจิตสำนึกสาธารณะต่อส่วนรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (4) พฤติกรรมการเปิดรับสื่อประชาสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมจิตสาธารณะของนักเรียนฯ มีความสัมพันธ์กัน ระดับชั้นที่ต่างกันมีผลต่อการเปิดรับสื่อประชาสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมจิตสาธารณะของนักเรียนฯ ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ 0.05 (5) เสนอกลยุทธ์ในการจัดทำสื่อประชาสัมพันธ์พบว่า ต้องมีการวางแผนกิจกรรมจิตสาธารณะเร็วขึ้น มีการกำหนดแผนล่วงหน้า เพิ่มความหลากหลายของโครงการและกิจกรรมจิตสาธารณะ เพิ่มจำนวนรางวัล มีการมอบเกียรติบัตรและโล่เกียรติคุณจิตสาธารณะมากขึ้น และไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายในการทำกิจกรรมดังกล่าวมากเกินไป
The objectives of this research were to study public relations to build civic conscience in secondary school students at Prahareutai Nonthaburi Catholic School in terms of (1) students’ exposure to the public relations; (2) students’ civic conscience behavior; (3) the relationship between level of exposure to the public relations and civic conscience behavior; and (4) recommendations for strategies to produce effective public relations media to develop students’ sense of civic conscience. This was a mixed methods research. For the quantitative potion, the sample population was 897 students from grade matayom 1 to matayom 6 (equivalent to U.S. grades 7 to 12), chosen through multi-stage sampling. The research tool was a questionnaire. The data were statistically analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s correlated coefficient. For the qualitative portion, the key informants were the operating head of the volunteer program, the director for pastoral care, and head of the public relations unit, for a total of 3. The research tool was an interview form and data were analyzed with descriptive analysis. The results showed that (1) the public relations used a media mix but the primary medium was personal media i.e. teachers, friends, and personnel, who acted as middlemen transmitting messages to the target audience and encouraging students to participate in public service projects. (2) For media exposure, the media the students were exposed to the most were personal media and the school’s public address system. (3) For civic conscience behavior, the students had a high level of personal conscience and civic conscience. (4) level of exposure to the public relations was correlated to civic conscience behavior. Grade level affected level of exposure to the public relations and civic conscience behavior to a statistically significant degree at 0.05 confidence. (5) Recommendations for effective strategies are to arrange public service activities more quickly, to set plans in advance, to arrange more diverse public service projects and activities, to give out more awards, certificates and medals, and to make the costs for joining public service activities more affordable
