Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบการใช้ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศการใช้แหล่งสารสนเทศ และปัญหาการใช้สารสนเทศเพื่อการศึกษาต่อในระดับอุดมศึกษาของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ในจังหวัดสตูลและจังหวัดสงขลา กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 อำเภอเมืองสตูล จังหวัดสตูลและอำเภอหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา ปีการศึกษา 2550 จำนวน 548 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าที ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) นักเรียนใช้ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศเพื่อการศึกษาต่ออยู่ในระดับมากทรัพยากรสารสนเทศที่ใช้สูงสุด 3 อันดับแรก คือคู่มือแนะนำคณะ/แนะนำมหาวิทยาลัย หนังสือเฉลยข้อสอบ O-NET และ A-NET สายวิทย์และสายศิลป์ ข้อมูลการคัดเลือกบุคคลเข้าศึกษาในสถาบันอุดมศึกษาสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการอุดมศึกษา นักเรียนที่มีเพศต่างกันและเรียนในโรงเรียนที่มีที่ตั้งต่างกันใช้ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศเพื่อการศึกษาต่อแตกต่างกันโดยนักเรียนเพศหญิงในเขตอำเภอเมืองสตูลและเขตอำเภอหาดใหญ่ ใช้ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศมากกว่านักเรียนเพศชาย (2) นักเรียนใช้แหล่งสารสนเทศเพื่อการศึกษาต่ออยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ที่ตั้งของโรงเรียนเป็นตัวแปรที่กำหนดความแตกต่างในการใช้แหล่งสารสนเทศ นักเรียนที่เรียนในโรงเรียนที่มีที่ตั้งต่างกันใช้แหล่งสารสนเทศเพื่อการศึกษาต่อแตกต่างกัน โดยนักเรียนที่เรียนในเขตอำเภอหาดใหญ่มีการใช้แหล่งสารสนเทศเพื่อการศึกษาต่อมากกว่านักเรียนที่เรียนในเขตอำเภอเมืองสตูล (3) นักเรียนประสบปัญหาในการใช้สารสนเทศอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ปัญหาที่ประสบมากทึ่สุด 3 อันดับแรก คือ เครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ที่ให้บริการสืบค้นอินเทอร์เน็ดในโรงเรียนมีจำนวนจำกัดไม่เพียงพอต่อความต้องการ ห้องบริการอินเทอร์เน็ตของโรงเรียนจำกัดเวลาในการให้บริการ คอมพิวเตอร์ที่ให้บริการในห้องสมุดโรงเรียนมีประสิทธิภาพตํ่า ทำงานช้านักเรียนที่มีเพศต่างกัน ระดับคะแนนเฉลี่ยต่างกัน และเรียนในโรงเรียนที่มีที่ตั้งต่างกันมีปัญหาการใช้สารสนเทศไม่แตกต่างกัน
The purposes of this study were to study and compare the information use the use of information resources and the problems on the information use of mathayomsuksa 6 students in Satun and Songkhla Provinces. The research samPles were 548 mathayomsuksa 6 students in the academic year 2008. The research tool was questionnaires. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, means, standard deviation and t-test. The research findings were (1) Most students used information for further studiesThe first three types of information used were a handbook giving a guideline of the faculty/university, answer key book of O-NET and A-NET examination in the field of Science and Arts, and information on students selected to study in higher education institutions, office of the Higher education Commission. The students in different genders and different location used information differently and used information resources for further studies differently; the females students m the city of Satun and Hadyai used information resources more than males students. (2) The students used information sources at the moderate level. The location of schools was found to be an indicator of student’s overall information sources use. Students in different school location used information sources for further studies differently. Students in Hadyai used more information sources than students in the city of Satun. (3) The students faced the problems in information use at the moderate level. The first three problems were that the number of computers used for the Internet search were limited and not enough for students requirement; the room rendering Internet service limited the time for services, and the computers that were available in the school library were of low capacity and speed. No significant difference in information use problems was found among students in different genders, grade point average, and school area.
