Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) สภาพทางสังคมและเศรษฐกิจของเกษตรกร 2) สภาพการผลิตส้มโอของเกษตรกร 3) ความรู้ของเกษตรกรเกี่ยวกับการผลิตส้มโอเพื่อการส่งออก 4) ความคิดเห็นของเกษตรกรเกี่ยวกับการผลิตส้มโอเพื่อการส่งออก 5) วิธีการปฏิบัติในการผลิตส้มโอให้ได้คุณภาพตามมาตรฐานการส่งออก 6) เปรียบเทียบสภาพการผลิต ความรู้ ความคิดเห็น และการปฏิบัติเกี่ยวกับการผลิตส้มโอ 7) ปัญหาและข้อเสนอแนะแนวทางในการส่งเสริมการผลิตส้มโอให้ได้คุณภาพตามมาตรฐานการส่งออกแก่เกษตรกรผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ว่า 1) เกษตรกรที่ได้รับใบรับรองแปลง (GAP) ส้มโอและเกษตรกรทั่วไปส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศชาย อายุเฉลี่ย 52.61 และ 49.91 ปี ส่วนใหญ่จบการศึกษาระดับประถมศึกษา รายได้จากการทำสวนส้มโอเฉลี่ย 211,611.11 และ160,231.48 บาทต่อปี โดยรายได้จากภาคเกษตรรวม เฉลี่ย 360,031.40 และ 298,018.52 บาทต่อปี รายจ่ายในภาคการเกษตรทั้งหมดของครัวเรือนเฉลี่ย 169,942.59 และ 124,999.59 บาทต่อปี กำไรเฉลี่ย 7,766.28 และ 7,147.78 บาทต่อไร่ 2) สภาพการผลิตส้มโอของเกษตรกรที่ได้รับใบรับรองแปลง (GAP) ส้มโอและเกษตรกรผู้ผลิตส้มโอทั่วไป พื้นที่ปลูก เฉลี่ย 15.50 และ12.02 ไร่ ส่วนใหญ่ปลูกส้มโอพันธุ์ท่าข่อย เกษตรกรทั้ง 2 กลุ่มมีสภาพการผลิตใกล้เคียงกันเกือบทุกด้าน 3) ความรู้ของเกษตรกรในภาพรวมของทั้ง 2 กลุ่ม มีความรู้มากในประเด็นการเลือกพื้นที่ปลูกและการปลูกส้มโอ การเก็บเกี่ยว แต่ยังมีความรู้น้อยในประเด็น การแบ่งชั้นคุณภาพและการกำหนดขนาดมาตรฐานการส่งออกของส้มโอ 4) ความคิดเห็นของเกษตรกรในภาพรวมของกลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้ง 2 กลุ่ม อยู่ในระดับเห็นด้วยมาก คือการผลิตส้มโอให้ได้คุณภาพตามมาตรฐานการส่งออกจะทาให้เกษตรกรมีรายได้เพิ่มขึ้น และมีตลาดรับรองผลผลิตส้มโอที่แน่นอน 5) วิธีการปฏิบัติสำหรับเกษตรกรที่ได้รับใบรับรองแปลง (GAP) ส้มโอ ส่วนใหญ่ปฏิบัติเป็นประจำแต่มีบางประเด็นที่ส่วนใหญ่ไม่ปฏิบัติ ส่วนเกษตรกรผู้ผลิตส้มโอทั่วไปส่วนใหญ่มีการปฏิบัติเป็นประจำน้อยทุกประเด็น และ 6) ปัญหาและข้อเสนอแนะ เกษตรกรทั้ง 2 กลุ่มมีปัญหาในระดับมากในประเด็น ต้นทุนการผลิตสูง มีโรคและแมลงศัตรูพืชมากทำให้ยากต่อการจัดการ โดยมีข้อเสนอแนะให้มีการอบรมความรู้เรื่องการผลิตส้มโอให้ได้คุณภาพและมาตรฐานการส่งออกอย่างต่อเนื่อง
The objectives of this study were to study 1) social and economic status of farmers, 2) pomelo production conditions of farmers, 3) farmers’ knowledge in pomelo production for exporting, 4) farmers’ opinions toward pomelo production for exporting, 5) farmers’ practices of pomelo production adhering to the export standardization, 6) comparison of production, knowledge, opinions and practice relating to pomelo production and 7) the problems and suggestions on guidelines for the extension of quality pomelo production adhering to the export standardization. The population in this study was farmers who had produced pomelo in Phichit Province. The samples in this study were divided into two groups, the group of farmers who had received the certificate of GAP pomelo and general pomelo farmers, accounting for 108 farmers in each group. The research instrument was an interviewed questionnaire. The statistical methodology was used to analyze the data by computer programs including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The findings of this study were as follows: 1) most of GAP farmers and general farmers were male with average age of 52.61 and 49.91 years, and finished primary education. The average incomes obtaining from selling pomelo were 211,611.11 and 160,231.48 Baht/year. The average total farming incomes were 360,031.40 and 298,018.52 Baht/year, while the average total farming expenses were 169,942.59 and 124,999.59 Baht/year. Hence, the average profits were 7,766.28 and 7,147.78 Baht/Rai (1 Rai = 1,600 square meters). 2) Considering the pomelo production situations of the GAP and general farmers, the average areas used for growing pomelo were 15.50 and 12.02 Rai. They mostly planted “Thakoi” tribe. The production situations of both groups were alike in almost all aspects. 3) The knowledge of pomelo production for exporting, the farmers in both groups had much knowledge in selecting the planting area, pomelo growing and harvesting, but they had a little knowledge of pomelo grading and size determining adhering to the export standardization. 4) The opinions toward pomelo production for exporting, the farmers in both groups agreed with the pomelo production adhering to the export standardization at the “much” level because it made them having higher income, and they would have certain markets for the produces. 5) The practices adhering to the export standardization, the GAP farmers mostly practiced regularly, except in some aspects, while general farmers hardly practiced in all aspects. Furthermore, 6) the farmers in both groups had problems at “much” level with high production cost, and the spread of plant diseases, insects, and enemies. They suggested that they should be trained continuously on the management of quality pomelo production adhering to the export standardization.
