Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อต้องการศึกษาแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับผู้นำทางการเมืองที่ปรากฏในบทพระราชนิพนธ์เรื่องพระมหาชนก การศึกษาวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยเป็นการศึกษาค้นคว้าจากข้อมูลเอกสารเป็นหลัก ซึ่งผู้ศึกษาวิจัยยึดถือ พระมหาชนก ฉบับที่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจัาอยู่หัวภูมิพลอดุลยเดชฯทรงพระราชนิพนธ์ไว้เป็นสำคัญ ประกอบกับศึกษาค้นคว้าจากพระไตรปิฎกฉบับภาษาไทยโดยมีเครื่องมือในการรวบรวมข้อมูลที่สำคัญคือ แบบการเก็บข้อมูลจากเอกสาร แบบบันทึกข้อมูล แบบบันทึกดัชนี ซึ่งการจำแนกข้อมูลเอกสารจัดกระทำอย่างเป็นหมวดหมู่ สร้างบทสรุปของข้อมูล พิสูจน์บทสรุป และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงพรรณนาอธิบายความ
ผลจากการศึกษาวิจัย พบว่า แนวคิดเที่ยวกับภาวะผู้นำที่ปรากฏ (1) ด้านองค์ประกอบ
และบริบทของผู้นำพบว่า เป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่มีผลต่อลักษณะของการปกครอง (2) ด้านคุณสมบัติ
ของผู้นำพบว่า เป็นผู้มีความรู้ความสามารถเรียรู้หลายสาขาวิชา มีความเพียรอย่างสูงจนเป็น
คุณปการต่อการเป็นผู้นำ (3) ค้านภาวะผู้นำพบว่า เป็นความสามารถที่เพียบพร้อมในหลักการ
ปกครอง โดยมีกรอบทางพุทธศาสนาเป็นส่วนกำกับ จนได้รับความร่วมมือจากสมาชิกอย่าง
กว้างขวาง (4) ด้านบทบาทหน้าที่ของผู้นำพบว่า ตัวละครที่เป็นผู้นำได้สะท้อนถึงบทบาทหน้าที่
ที่สังคมคาดหวัง ด้านการบริหาร ด้านการศึกษา และให้ความรู้ถึงมั่นคงปลอดภัยแก่สังคม เป็นต้น
(5) ด้านลักษณะการปกครองของผู้นำพบว่า มีลักษณะธรรมราชา เทวราชา และเป็นผู้นำแบบ
ยอมรับด้วยบารมีและยอมรับด้วยธรรมเนียมประเพณีด้วย (6) ด้านวิสัยทัศน์ของผู้นำพบว่า ตัวละครที่เป็นผู้นำมีวิสัยทัศน์รอนด้านในการวินิจฉัยและแก้ปัญหาอย่างเป็นระบบ (7) ด้านคุณลักษณะของผู้นำ พบว่ามีความเพียร วิริยะอุตสาหะ และอดทน อันเป็นแนวทางที่จะใช้เลือกเฟ้นพิจารณาผู้นำทางการเมืองที่ดีได้
The objective of this research was to study the concepts of political leadership in the royal composition “The Story of Mahajanaka”. This was qualitative research based primarily on documentary data. The main document studied was “The Story of Mahajanaka” written by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and additional data were taken from the Thai version of the Holy Tripitaka. Data were collected using a documentary data collection form, data recording forms, and index forms. Data were organized into categories, conclusions were formed and proven and the data were explained using descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) in the story, the components and context of a leader are significant factors that affect the leader’s governmental style or characteristics. (2) The qualities that are beneficial for being a leader arc being knowledgeable, studying many different fields, and being very diligent. (3) Being a leader means being fully capable and accomplished in governmental principles and following the framework of Buddhism. This will enable the leader to enlist the cooperation of a broad range of people. (4) Leaders in the story demonstrated the roles expected of them by society, such as administrative roles, education roles and roles of providing a feeling of stability and safety. (5) The types of leaders described in the story showed characteristics of being a moral leader, a spiritual leader (god king), a leader accepted by his influence and good deeds, and a leader accepted because of customs and tradition. (6) The vision of the main leader character in the story showed that he had a wide-ranging vision about systematically diagnosing and solving problems. (7) As for the qualities, the leader in the story showed that he had practiced diligence, perseverance and endurance. Overall, these concepts can be applied in choosing good political leaders.
