ความพึงพอใจของผู้ปกครองที่มีต่อโปรแกรมการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษ โดยเจ้าของภาษาเป็นผู้สอนโรงเรียนปรียาโชติ จังหวัดนครสวรรค์

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบความพึงพอใจของผู้ปกครองที่มีต่อโปรแกรมการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษโดยเจ้าของภาษาเป็นผู้สอนโรงเรียนปรียาโชติ จังหวัดนครสวรรค์ จำแนกตามสถานภาพทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม และ (2) ศึกษาข้อเสนอแนะในการพัฒนา คุณภาพโปรแกรมการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษ โดยเจ้าของภาษาเป็นผู้สอนกลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ ผู้ปกครองนักเรียนในโปรแกรมการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษโดยเจ้าของภาษาเป็นผู้สอนโรงเรียนปรียาโชติ อำเภอตาคลี จังหวัดนครสวรรค์ ปีการศึกษา 2553 จำนวน 230 คน จำแนกตามสถานภาพทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม ได้แก่ ระดับการศึกษา อาชีพ และรายได้ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบ ถามชนิดมาตรประมาณค่าที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นมีค่าความ เที่ยงเท่ากับ 0.91 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวน การทดสอบสมมติฐานใช้ระดับความมีนัยสำคัญที่ .05 ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) ความพึงพอใจของผู้ปกครองนักเรียนที่มีต่อโปรแกรมการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษ โดยเจ้าของภาษาเป็นผู้สอนโรงเรียนปรียาโชติ จังหวัดนครสวรรค์ โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (2) ผู้ปกครองที่มีสถานภาพทางเศรษฐกิจ และสังคมแตกต่างกันมีความพึงพอใจต่อโปรแกรมการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษไม่แตกต่างกัน และ(3) ข้อเสนอแนะของผู้ปกครองในการพัฒนาคุณภาพโปรแกรมการเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษโดยเจ้าของภาษาเป็นผู้สอน พบว่า ผู้ปกครองมีความต้องการให้โรงเรียนจัดการเรียนการสอนทั้งในและนอกสถานที่ จัดกิจกรรมเสริมทักษะภาษาอังกฤษอย่างหลากหลายโดยเน้นทักษะการฟัง การพูด การอ่าน และการเขียน และเผยแพร่ประชาสัมพันธ์ให้ ผู้ปกครองได้รับรู้เกี่ยวกับการเรียนการสอนและความก้าวหน้าของนักเรียน

The purposes of this study were (1) to study and compare the satisfactions of student guardians with the English program taught by native speakers at Preyachoti School, Nakhon Sawan province, as classified by student guardians’ socio-economic status (SES); and (2) to study recommendations for quality development of the English program taught by native speakers. The sample consisted of 230 guardians of students in the English program taught by native speakers at Preyachoti School, Nakhon Sawan province in the academic year 2010. The sample was classified by SES in terms of educational level, occupation, and income. The employed research instrument was a rating scale questionnaire developed by the researcher, with reliability coefficient of .91. The statistics used in data analysis were the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and one-way ANOVA. The .05 level of statistical significance was predetermined for hypothesis testing. The research findings were as follows: (1) the overall satisfaction of student guardians with the English program taught by native speakers at Preyachoti School, Nakhon Sawan province was at the high level; (2) as for comparison results of the overall satisfaction of student guardians as classified by SES, no significant differences were found; and (3) regarding recommendations for quality development of the English program taught by native speakers, it was found that the school needed to arrange learning activities both within and outside the school, to organize various extra-activities focusing on communication skills, and to disseminate information on the program and the learning progress of students to the guardians via public relations campaign.
