งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการบริหารงานวิจัยของ
สถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนา มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครราชสีมา ระบบสารสนเทศที่พัฒนาขึ้น
ประกอบด้วย 3 ระบบย่อย ได้แก่ ระบบนำเข้าข้อมูล ระบบประมวลผลข้อมูล และระบบแสดงผลรายงานการวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพัฒนา โดยวิธีการพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศใช้หลักการของวงจรการพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศ การพัฒนาระบบเริ่มจากการศึกษาและวิเคราะห์ปัญหาการดำเนินงานของระบบเดิม ขั้นตอนต่อมาคือ นำผลการศึกษาและวิเคราะห์มาออกแบบระบบ และหลังจากนั้นจึงดำเนินการขั้นตอนการพัฒนาระบบ การทดสอบและการติดตั้งระบบ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการพัฒนาคือโปรแกรมภาษา HTML, PHP และระบบจัดการฐานข้อมูล MySQL ภายใต้ระบบปฏิบัติการ Microsoft Windows 7 ผลการวิจัยที่ได้ คือ ระบบสารสนเทศที่สนับสนุนการบริหารและการติดตามงานวิจัยของสถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนา มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครราชสีมา จากการประเมินระบบสารสนเทศโดยผู้บริหาร เจ้าหน้าที่และบุคลากรของมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครราชสีมา จำนวน 73 คน ที่มีต่อการทำงานของระบบ 4 หัวข้อได้แก่ ด้านความสอดคล้องกับความต้องการของผู้ใช้ด้านการทำงานระหว่างโปรแกรมกับผู้ใช้ด้านหน้าที่การทำงานของระบบ และด้านความมั่นคงปลอดภัยของระบบ พบว่า ผู้ประเมินมีความพึงพอใจทุกด้านอยู่ในระดับมาก
The purpose of this research was to develop an information system for research management at the Research and Development Institute, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University. The system consisted of 3 subsystems: input subsystem, processing subsystem and reporting subsystem. This study concerns research and development. The system development life cycle methodology was used, starting with studying and analyzing the problems of the existing system. Next, the results from the first step were used to design the system. After the system design step, development, testing and implementation steps were conducted. The software development tools used were HTML, PHP and MySQL. The system was developed under the environment of Microsoft Windows 7 operating system. The result of this study was an information system that could support users in managing and following up on research projects more efficiently. The results of the system evaluation by 73 managerial and operating staff who were responsible for research management were found to be as follows. Most users were highly satisfied with the system in 4 aspects: meeting user requirements, user interface, system functions and system security.
