พฤติกรรมการแสวงหาสารสนเทศของผู้บริหารระดับต้นฝ่ายบัญชี : กรณีศึกษา บริษัทไทยเบฟเวอเรจ จำกัด (มหาชน)

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาพฤติกรรมการแสวงหาสารสนเทศของ ผู้บริหารระดับต้นฝ่ายบัญชี และ (2) เปรียบเทียบพฤติกรรมการแสวงหาสารสนเทศของผู้บริหารระดับต้นฝ่ายบัญชีที่มีอายุการทำงานต่ำกว่าและเท่ากับ 15 ปี และมากกว่า 15 ปี การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพนี้ใช้การสัมภาษณ์แบบสนทนากลุ่มกับผู้บริหารระดับต้นฝ่ายบัญชี บริษัท ไทยเบฟเวอเรจ จำกัด (มหาชน) ที่คัดเลือกแบบเจาะจงจากสาขาต่าง ๆ จำนวน 25 คน เป็นผู้ที่มีอายุการทำงานน้อยกว่าและเท่ากับ 15 ปี จำนวน 12 คนและผู้ที่มีอายุการทำงานมากกว่า 15 ปี จำนวน 13 คน และวิเคราะห์เนี้อหาจากบทสัมภาษณ์ตามตัวแบบการแสวงหาสารสนเทศของนักวิชาชีพโดยเลคก พิตติกรู และซิลแวง ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) พฤติกรรมการแสวงหาสารสนเทศของผู้บริหารระดับต้นฝ่ายบัญชี จำแนกตามบทบาทหน้าที่และภาระงาน คือ บทบาทการใช้บริการ เป็นบทบาทที่ต้องแสวงหาสารสนเทศมากที่สุดในภาระงานด้านการจัดทำรายงานยอดขายและรายงานค่าใช้จ่าย ดามด้วยบทบาทการบริหารงาน บทบาทการค้นคว้าวิจัย บทบาทการสอนงาน และบทบาทการศึกษาหาความรู้ แหล่งสารสนเทศที่ใช้มากที่สุดคือแหล่งบุคคล รองลงมาคือเอกสารทางบัญชี ระบบสารสนเทศทางบัญชีประสบการณ์ส่วนตนหน่วยงานอื่นและสินค้าตามลำดับและ 2) พฤติกรรมการแสวงหาสารสนเทศของของผู้บริหารระดับต้นฝ่ายบัญชีที่มีอายุการท่างานต่ำกว่าและเท่ากับ 15 ปี และมากกว่า 15 ปีพบว่าไม่แตกต่างกัน ยกเว้นภาระงานด้านการจัดทำรายงานผู้บริหารที่มีอายุการทำงานมากกว่า 15 ปีมีความต้องการสารสนเทศน้อยกว่ากลุ่มที่มีอายุการทำงานต่ำกว่าและเท่ากับ 15 ปี

This research aims to (1) study the information seeking behaviors of operational administrators and financial branch managers of Thai Beverage Plc. Co..Ltd.; (2) compare the information seeking behaviors of operational administrators and financial branch managers with fewer than or equal to 15 years of work experience and those with more than 15 years of work experience. This qualitative study employed focus group discussions. Twenty-five operational administrators and branch managers were purposefully selected: 12 with fewer than or equal to 15 years of work experience and the other 13 with more than 15 years of work experience. The interview transcripts were analyzed. The research model adopted was the information seeking behavior of professionals by Leckie. Pettigrew and Sylvain. The results showed that: 1) information seeking behavior of the operational administrators and financial branch managers varied by five roles and corresponding work. The service provider role led to the most extensive information seeking for producing sales and expenditures reports, followed by the management role, the research role, the teaching and coaching role and, lastly, the student role, the most used information source was persons, followed by accounting documents, the accounting information system, personal experience, other departments and the products, respectively; 2) the information seeking behaviors of operational administrators and financial branch managers with fewer than or equal to 15 years of work experience were found to differ slightly from those with more than 15 years of work experience. The only distinct exception was that the latter group expressed fewer information needs than the former one in the production of reports.
