สภาพการจัดบริการแนะแนวสำหรับนักศึกษาในศูนย์การศึกษานอกระบบและการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัยในจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาสภาพและความคาดหวังของการจัดบริการแนะ แนวสำหรับนักศึกษาของศูนย์การศึกษานอกระบบและการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัยจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช (2) เปรียบเทียบสภาพการให้บริการแนะแนวและความคาดหวังของนักศึกษาจำแนก ตาม เพศ อายุ ประสบการณ์ทำงาน ฐานะทางเศรษฐกิจและแรงจูงใจใฝ่ สัมฤทธิ์ และ (3) ศึกษาปัญหาและเสนอแนะ การจัดบริการแนะแนวของศูนย์การศึกษานอกระบบและการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัยจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ นักศึกษาศูนย์การศึกษานอกระบบและการศึกษาตาม อัธยาศัย จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช จำนวน 368 คน ได้มาโดยการสุ่มอย่างง่าย กำหนดขนาดของกลุ่ม ตัวอย่างด้วยวิธีของยามาเน่ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นของนักศึกษา เกี่ยวกับสภาพการจัดบริการแนะแนวของศูนย์การศึกษานอกระบบและการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัยในจังหวัด นครศรีธรรมราช แบ่งออกเป็น 5 ด้าน คือ ด้านศึกษารายบุคคล ด้านบริการสนเทศ ด้านการให้คำปรึกษา ด้านจัดวางตัวบุคคล และด้านติดตามประเมินผล มีค่าความเที่ยงเท่ากับ .95 การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่าที การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวน วิธีของเชฟเฟ่ เพี่อการทกสอบรายคู่ และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า (1) สภาพและความคาดหวังของการจัดบริการแนะแนวสำหรับ นักศึกษาของศูนย์การศึกษานอกระบบและการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัย จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช อยู่ในระดับ มาก (2) นักศึกษาในศูนย์การศึกษานอกระบบและการศึกษาตามอัธยาศัยในจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ที่มี เพศ อายุ ประสบการณ์ทำงาน ฐานะทางเศรษฐกิจ และแรงจูงใจใฝ่ สัมฤทธิ์ ที่ีแตกต่างมีความคิดเห็นต่อ สภาพการจัดบริการแนะแนว ในภาพรวมและรายด้าน ทุกด้าน แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ ระดับ .05 และ (3) สำหรับปัญหาและข้อเสนอแนะการจัดบริการแนะแนว มีข้อเสนอแนะ เรียงตามลำดับ 3 อันดับแรกได้ดังนี้ การจัดการศึกษานอกโรงเรียนควรมีระเบียบ มีความเข้มงวดมากกว่านี้ และมีการ ปรับปรุงพัฒนาให้ดีขึ้นตลอดไป โดยจัดให้มีการสอนในระดับที่สูงขึ้น ได้แก่ ปวช. ปวส. และปริญญาตรี

The objectives of this research were (1) to study the conditions and expectations concerning guidance service provision for students in non-formal and informal education centers in Nakhon Si Thammarat province; (2) to compare the conditions of guidance service provision with the expectations of students as classified by gender, age, work experience, economic status, and achievement motivation; and (3) to study problems and propose recommendations on guidance service provision of non-formal and informal education centers in Nakhon Si Thammarat province. The research sample consisted of 368 randomly selected students in nonformal and informal education centers in Nakhon Si Thammarat province. The sample size was determined based on Yamane’s method. The employed research instrument was a questionnaire on student’s opinions concerning the conditions of guidance service provision of non-formal and informal education centers in Nakhon Si Thammathirat province, which comprised five aspects of guidance service, namely, the study of individual students, the information service provision, the counseling service provision, the placement service provision, and the follow-up and evaluation. The questionnaire had reliability coefficient of .95. Data were analyzed using the mean, standard deviation, t-test, analysis of variance, Scheffe method for pair-wise comparison, and content analysis. Research findings were that (1) both the conditions and expectations concerning guidance service provision of non-formal and informal education centers in Nakhon Si Thammarat province were rated at the high level; (2) students in nonformal and informal education centers in Nakhon Si Thammarat province with different genders, ages, work experiences, economic statuses, and achievement motivations significantly differed in their opinions toward the overall and every aspect of guidance service provision of the centers at the .05 level; and (3) as for the problems and recommendations concerning guidance service provision, the three top recommendations based on their rankings were the following: there should be stricter rules and regulations concerning the provision of non-formal and informal education; there should be further improvement and development of non-formal and informal education provision on a continuous basis; and non-formal and informal education should be offered at the higher level of education such as the vocational certificate, higher vocational certificate, and bachelor’s degree levels.
