Abstract
การศึกษาค้นคว้าอิสระครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) สร้างหนังสือส่งเสริมการอ่านชุดนิทานคุณธรรม สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โรงเรียนมหาราชบ้านแสงอรุณ จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี และ (2) ตรวจสอบคุณภาพหนังสือส่งเสริมการอ่านที่สร้างขึ้น ผู้ให้ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิด้านภาษาไทย และด้านการสร้างหนังสือส่งเสริมการอ่านจำนวน 3 คน และนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 จำนวน 10 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษา คือ (1) หนังสือส่งเสริมการอ่านชุดนิทานคุณธรรม (2) แบบประเมินคุณภาพหนังสือส่งเสริมการอ่าน โดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญ และ (3) แบบประเมินความพึงพอใจของนักเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ค่าเฉลี่ย ผลการศึกษาค้นคว้าอิสระ มีดังนี้ (1) หนังสือส่งเสริมการอ่านชุดนิทานคุณธรรม สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โรงเรียนมหาราชบ้านแสงอรุณ จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ประกอบด้วยนิทานคุณธรรม 10 เรื่อง ที่มีเนื้อหาสอดแทรกคุณธรรมและลักษณะอันพึงประสงค์ที่นักเรียนควรปฏิบัติ มีภาพสีประกอบและกิจกรรมท้ายเรื่อง และ (2) ผลการตรวจสอบคุณภาพหนังสือโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิด้านเนื้อเรื่อง สำนวนภาษา ภาพประกอบ รูปเล่มและการจัดรูปแบบคุณค่า และประโยชน์ที่ได้รับ มีความเหมาะสมในระดับมาก คือ มีค่าเฉลี่ยโดยรวมเท่ากับ 4.44 และความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนที่มีต่อหนังสือด้านเนื้อเรื่อง สำนวนภาษา ภาพประกอบ รูปเล่มและการจัดรูปแบบ คุณค่าและประโยชน์ที่ได้รับ มีความพึงพอใจในระดับมาก คือ มีค่าเฉลี่ยโดยรวมเท่ากับ 2.67
The purposes of this study were (1) to construct a reading enhancement book entitled Series of Moral Tales for Prathom Suksa IV students at Maharat Ban Saeng-arun School in Surat Thani province; and (2) to verify quality of the constructed reading enhancement book. The informants for this study consisted of a group of 3 experts on construction of reading enhancement book and a group of 10 Prathom Suksa IV students. The instruments employed for quality verification comprised (1) a reading enhancement book entitled Series of Moral Tales, (2) a reading enhancement book quality verification form for the experts, and (3) a form for assessment of student’s satisfaction. Data were statistically analyzed using the mean. The findings of the study were as follows: (1) the constructed reading enhancement book comprised a series of ten moral tales, the contents of each of which were inserted with morality and desirable characteristics for students, with color illustrations and end-of-book activities; and (2) results of quality verification of the book by experts regarding the plots, language style, illustration, book appearance and format, and values and benefits were at the highly appropriate level with the total rating mean of 4.44; and students’ satisfaction with the book in the aspects of the plots, language style, illustration, book appearance and format, and values and benefits were at the highly appropriate level with the total rating mean of 2.67.
