Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) การใช้สื่อและสารเพื่อการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออกของหน่วยงานด้านสาธารณสุขในเขตจังหวัดสงขลา 2) การเปิดรับสื่อเกี่ยวกับการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออก 3) ความพึงพอใจต่อรูปแบบการนำเสนอของสื่อเกี่ยวกับการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออก 4) ผลของการสื่อสารสุขภาพในการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออก 5) เปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของลักษณะทางประชากรกับผลของการสื่อสารสุขภาพในการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออก 6) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการเปิดรับสื่อเกี่ยวกับการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออกและความพึงพอใจต่อรูปแบบการนำเสนอของสื่อกับผลของการสื่อสารสุขภาพในการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออก และ 7) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างอิทธิพลของผู้นำ ทางความคิดกับผลของการสื่อสารสุขภาพในการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออกของประชาชนในจังหวัดสงขลา การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบผสานวิธี การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลัก คือ ผู้ปฏิบัติงานด้านการสื่อสารสุขภาพ ในจังหวัดสงขลาที่มีประสบการณ์ไม่น้อยกว่า 5 ปี ระดับเขต จังหวัด อำเภอ ตำบล รวม 4 คน ระดับเขตและจังหวัดคัดเลือกแบบเจาะจง ระดับอำเภอและระดับตำบลใช้วิธีการสุ่มโดยการจับฉลาก เครื่องมือวิจัยคือแบบสัมภาษณ์ เก็บข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการสร้างข้อสรุป ส่วนการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ ศึกษาจากกลุ่มตัวอย่าง 400 คน ที่ได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือวิจัยคือแบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยค่าสถิติความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่าที การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว และค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) หน่วยงานด้านสาธารณสุขในเขตจังหวัดสงขลาใช้สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์มากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ สื่อมวลชนอื่นๆ สื่อกิจกรรม สื่อออนไลน์และสื่อสังคม หน่วยบริการสาธารณสุข และสื่อบุคคล ตามลำดับ โดยใช้ประเด็นสารมาตรการ 3 เก็บและหลัก 5 ป. ในการสื่อสารเพื่อป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออก 2) กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เปิดรับสื่อเกี่ยวกับการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออกในระดับปานกลางโดยเปิดรับสื่อโทรทัศน์ระดับสูง 3) กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความพึงพอใจต่อการนำเสนอสื่อในระดับปานกลาง โดยพึงพอใจต่อรูปแบบข่าวระดับสูง 4) กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความรู้เกี่ยวกับการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออกในระดับปานกลาง มีทัศนคติและพฤติกรรมในการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออกในระดับสูง 5) ลักษณะทางประชากรที่แตกต่างกันมีการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออกแตกต่างกันดังนี้ (1) ที่อยู่อาศัยและระดับการศึกษาที่แตกต่างกันมีการเปิดรับสื่อเกี่ยวกับการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออกแตกต่างกัน (2) พื้นที่ที่อยู่อาศัย อายุ ระดับการศึกษา อาชีพ และรายได้ต่อเดือนที่แตกต่างกันมีความรู้เกี่ยวกับการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออกแตกต่างกัน (3) อายุ ระดับการศึกษา อาชีพ รายได้ต่อเดือนที่แตกต่างกันมีทัศนคติต่อการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออกแตกต่างกัน (4) ที่อยู่อาศัยและระดับการศึกษาแตกต่างกัน มีพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออกแตกต่างกัน 6) การเปิดรับสื่อเกี่ยวกับการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออกและความพึงพอใจต่อรูปแบบการนำเสนอของสื่อเกี่ยวกับการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออกไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความรู้และทัศนคติที่มีต่อการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออก แต่มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับพฤติกรรมกรรมการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออก และ 7) อิทธิพลของผู้นำทางความคิดไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความรู้เกี่ยวกับการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออก แต่มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับทัศนคติและพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออก ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ .05
The objectives of this research were to study 1) the media and messages to prevent Dengue Fever used by public health agencies in Songkhla Province; 2) local residents’ exposure to media about Dengue Fever prevention; 3) their satisfaction with the presentation formats of media about Dengue Fever prevention; 4) outcome of the health communications to prevent Dengue Fever; 5) relationships between demographic factors and results of the health communications; 6) the relationship between people’s exposure to media regarding Dengue Fever prevention and their satisfaction with the presentation formats; and 7) the relationship between the influence of opinion leaders and outcome of health communications to prevent Dengue Fever. This was a mixed methods research. For the qualitative part, interviews were conducted with 4 people responsible for health communications with at least 5 years work experience at the district, sub-district, province and regional level. Personnel at the province and regional level were chosen through purposive sampling and personnel at the district and sub-district level were chosen through random sampling. The research tool was an interview form. Data were analyzed by drawing conclusions. For the quantitative portion, the sample population was 400 residents of Songkhla Province, chosen through multi-level sampling. The research tool was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t test, ANOVA and Pearson’s correlated coefficient. The results showed that 1) The print media was used the most by public health agencies in Songkhla for health communications about Dengue Fever, followed by other mass media, activities, online media and social media, public health service stations, and personal media, respectively. The messages communicated to prevent Dengue Fever were based on the “keep 3” measures and the “5 P” principles. 2) The majority of sample had a medium level of exposure to the media about preventing Dengue Fever. They were exposed to messages on the television the most. 3) Most samples had a medium level of satisfaction with the media formats overall. They were highly satisfied with the news format. 4) Most samples had a medium level of knowledge about preventing Dengue Fever. They had a high level of attitude and behavior for preventing Dengue Fever. 5) The following relationships were found between demographic factors and Dengue Fever prevention: (a) place of residence and educational level were correlated with exposure to media about preventing Dengue Fever; (b) residence, age, educational level, occupation and monthly income were correlated with knowledge about Dengue Fever prevention; (c) age, educational level, occupation and monthly income were correlated with attitude about Dengue Fever prevention; and (d) residence and educational level were correlated with Dengue Fever prevention behavior. 6) Neither level of exposure to media about preventing Dengue Fever nor level of satisfaction with presentation formats were correlated with knowledge and attitude about Dengue Fever prevention, but both media exposure and satisfaction with media formats were positively related to Dengue Fever prevention behavior. 7) The influence of opinion leaders was not correlated with knowledge about Dengue Fever prevention, but it did have a statistically significant positive correlation to attitude and behavior regarding Dengue Fever prevention
