คุณภาพบริการหอผู้ป่วยเด็ก 2 โรงพยาบาลนครพนม ตามความคาดหวังและการรับรู้ของมารดา

Abstract

การวิจัยเชิงสำรวจนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาระดับคุณภาพบริการหอผู้ป่วยเด็ก 2 โรงพยาบาลนครพนม ตามความคาดหวังและการรับรู้ของมารดา (2) เปรียบเทียบคุณภาพบริการตามความคาดหวังและการรับรู้ของมารดา (3) เปรียบเทียบคุณภาพบริการตามความคาดหวังและการรับรู้ของมารดาที่มีสัญชาติต่างกัน และ (4) เปรียบเทียบคุณภาพบริการตามความคาดหวังและการรับรู้ของมารดาที่มีการเจ็บป่วยของบุตรต่างกัน ประชากรคือ มารดาของทารกป่วยที่เข้ารับบริการรักษาที่หอผู้ป่วยเด็ก 2 โรงพยาบาลนครพนม เฉลี่ยต่อเดือนจำนวน 157 คน ขนาดตัวอย่างจากการคำนวณ จำนวน 120 คน เลือกโดยวิธีการสุ่มผู้มารับบริการในช่วงเดือนกรกฎาคม พ.ศ.2559 เครื่องมือที่ใช้เป็นแบบสอบถามตามแนวคิดการประเมินคุณภาพบริการ SERVQUAL ที่มีค่าความเที่ยงเท่ากับ 0.81 สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ สถิติเชิงพรรณนา การทดสอบทีแบบจับคู่ และการทดสอบทีแบบอิสระผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) ระดับคุณภาพบริการหอผู้ป่วยเด็ก 2 โรงพยาบาลนครพนม ตามความคาดหวังและการรับรู้ของมารดา ทั้งโดยรวมและรายด้าน มีระดับมากที่สุด ยกเว้นการรับรู้ของมารดา ด้านความเป็นรูปธรรมของบริการที่มีระดับมาก (2) คุณภาพบริการตามความคาดหวังมีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงกว่าตามการรับรู้ของมารดา และพบความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 (3) คุณภาพบริการตามความคาดหวังของมารดาที่มีสัญชาติลาวมีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงกว่ามารดาที่มีสัญชาติไทย และพบมีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 ส่วนการรับรู้คุณภาพบริการของมารดาทั้งสองสัญชาติ ไม่มีความแตกต่างกัน และ (4) คุณภาพบริการตามความคาดหวังและตามการรับรู้ของมารดาที่มีการเจ็บป่วยของบุตรต่างกัน ไม่พบความแตกต่างกัน

The objectives of this survey research were: (1) to study levels of service quality of Neonatal Ward Number 2 at Nakhonphanom hospital by expectation and perception of mothers; (2) to compare maternal expectation and perception of service quality; (3) to compare maternal expectation and perception of service quality among mothers with different nationalities; and (4) to compare maternal expectation and perception of service quality among mothers with babies of different sicknesses. The study population was a monthly average number of 157 mothers of neonatal patients admitted to the Neonatal Ward Number 2 at Nakhonphanom hospital. A sample size of 120 mothers was randomly selected from admitted neonates in July 2016. An instrument was a questionnaire, modified from SERVQUAL quality assessment with a reliability of 0.81. Statistical analysis was performed by descriptive statistics, paired t-test, and independent t-test. Results showed as follows: (1) overall and all aspects of service quality were at very good levels, except maternal perception in the aspect of tangible service, which was at a good level; (2) Maternal expectation was higher than perception; (3) Regarding different nationalities of the mothers, Lao mothers showed higher consensus between expectation of the service than those of Thai mothers at a statistically significant difference at p-value < 0.05; however, no significant difference was found on the perception of service quality among the mothers of different nationalities; and (4) No significant difference was found on maternal expectation and perception of the service quality among the mothers with babies of different sicknesses
