แนวพระราชดำริทางด้านการเมืองการปกครองของพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวที่ปรากฎในพระราชนิพนธ์ หัวใจนักรบ

Abstract

งานวิจัยฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและวิเคราะห์แนวพระราชดำริทางการเมือง การปกครองของพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวที่ปรากฏในพระราชนิพนธ์เรื่อง หัวใจ นักรบ ผลจากการศึกษาวิจัยพบว่า (1) พระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวทรงมี แนวความคิดชาตินิยม ในการปลูกฝังความรักชาติในเรื่องหน้าที่และความสำคัญของสถาบันชาติ ศาสนา และพระมหากษัตริย์ กับเรื่องหน้าที่ของบุคคลต่าง ๆ ที่พึงปฏิบัติต่อสถาบันชาติ ศาสนา และพระมหากษัตริย์ว่า ประชาชนทุกคนจะต้องมีความจงรักภักดีต่อชาติ ศาสนา และ พระมหากษัตริย์และรักเอกราชของชาติด้วยความเสียสละ ทั้งจะต้องมีความสามัคคี และตั้งใจทำ หน้าที่ของตนอย่างดีที่สุด (2) พระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวทรงใช้องค์ประกอบต่าง ๆ ของบทละคร หัวใจนักรบ ได้แก่ โครงเรื่อง ตัวแสดง และบทสนทนา ตลอดจนแทรกข้อคิดและ คติเตือนใจต่าง ๆ เพื่อปลูกฝังความรักชาติให้กับผู้ดูและผู้อ่าน (3) ปัจจัยที่นำมาสู่แนวพระราชดำริ ในการปลูกฝังความรักชาติของพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ประกอบด้วย ปัจจัยหลัก และปัจจัยสนับสนุน ได้แก่ ความเชื่อมั่นในสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไป ความขัดแย้ง กับระหว่างพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวกับกลุ่มทหารและกลุ่มปัญญาชน กรณีการ เฆี่ยนหลังทหาร การจัดตั้งทหารวังและจัดตั้งกองเสือป่า กับการที่ประเทศไทยลูกกุกคามทางด้าน การเมือง สังคม และเศรษฐกิจจากประเทศตะวันตกและจากชาวจีนซึ่งอาศัยอยู่ที่ประเทศไทย ซึ่ง ล้วนส่งผลต่อแนวพระราชดำริทางการเมืองการปกครองของพระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้า เจ้าอยู่หัว โดยพระองค์ทรงใช้บทละคร หัวใจนักรบ เป็นเครื่องมือสื่ออุดมการณ์ชาตินิยมผ่านการ กระทำของสมาชิกเสือป่าและลูกเสือ

The objective of this research was to study and analyze the political and administrative initiatives of King Rama VI as shown in the Warrior Heart. This was a qualitative research based on study of historical documents. Data were analyzed through descriptive analysis. The results showed that (1) King Rama VI communicated concepts of idealistic nationalism, aiming to instill feelings of patriotism by emphasizing the importance of and functions of the institutions of nation, religion, and the monarchy as well as each citizen’s duty to be loyal to these institutions. The story communicated the idea that it was honorable to make sacrifices to fight for national sovereignty, that citizens should be united, and that each should do his duties to the utmost of his abilities. (2) King Rama VI used the components of the work (the plot, characters, and dialogue) as well as inserted maxims and hidden meanings to instill a sense of patriotism in viewers and readers of the play. (3) Both primary factors and supporting factors led to the royal initiative to promote patriotism. Some of the factors included confidence in a monarchy that was changing; conflicts between the king, the military and the intelligentsia; the caning of 6 soldiers incident; the foundation of the Royal Guard and the Wild Tiger Corps; and political, social and economic threats from Western powers and the Chinese population in Thailand. All these factors affected the king’s political and administrative policies. He used the play “Warrior Heart” to communicate a message of patriotism via the actions of soldiers in the Wild Tiger Corps and Boy Scouts
