นัยทางการเมืองของศาลเจ้าจอมนรินทร์

Abstract

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์หานัยทางการเมืองจากศาลเจ้าจอมนรินทร์ การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยเน้นการวิเคราะห์เชิงตีความเพื่อค้นหานัยทางการเมืองของศาลเจ้าจอมนรินทร์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ศาลเจ้าจอมนรินทร์เป็นสถานที่ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ที่สร้างขึ้นเพื่อระลึกพระยานรินทร์ อดีตเจ้าเมืองหนองบัวลำภู ในสมัยร้ตนโกสินทร์ตอนต้น ซึ่งในเวลานั้นเมืองหนองบัวลำภู เป็นหัวเมืองลาวที่มีฐานะเป็นประเทศราชสยาม ปรากฎการณ์หลายๆ อย่างที่เกิดขึ้น ทั้งการริเริ่มก่อสร้างรูปปั้น ชื่อเจ้าจอม สถานที่ตั้ง คำยกย่องเชิดชู พิธีกรรมสักการะ และการบูรณะ เป็นการแสดงออกชองผู้คนในพื้นที่ เพื่อยกย่องเชิดชูพระยานรินทร์ ในฐานะผู้นำที่มีความกล้าหาญ ซื่อสัตย์ เสียสละ จงรักภักดี แต่เพื่อให้การยกย่องพระยานรินทร์เป็นไม่ไนลักษณะที่สอดคล้องหรือไม่ขัดกับความเป็นเอกภาพและความเป็นรัฐไทย ทำให้ไม่มีการยกสถานะศาลเจ้าจอมนรินทร์ขึ้นเป็อนุสาวรีย์

The objective of this research was to analyze the political significance of the Chao Jom Narin Shrine. This was a qualitative research based on interpretative analysis to understand the political significance of the Chao Jom Narin Shrine The results showed that the Chao Jom Narin Shrine is a sacred place that was built to commemorate Phraya Narin, the former leader of Nong Bua Lam Phu during the early Rattanakosin Era, at which time Nong Bua Lam Phu was an outpost of the Laotian Kingdom that had the status of a protectorate of the State of Siam. Many of the phenomena, such as the beginning of the construction of the statue, the name “Chao Jom,” the location of the shrine, words of praise for the former leader, ceremonies for worshipping at the shrine, and restoration of the shrine all are expressions of the local people to praise and honour Phraya Narin in his capacity as a leader who was brave, honest, loyal and self-sacrificing. However, the Chao Jom Narin Shrine has not been raised to the status of a national monument so that people’s admiration or worship of Phraya Narin will be compatible and not be in conflict with the unity of the Thai state.
