การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการนับจำนวนของ เด็กปฐมวัยก่อนและหลังการจัดกิจกรรมศิลปะสร้างสรรค์ และ (2) เปรียบเทียบการรู้ค่าจำนวนของ เด็กปฐมวัยก่อนและหลังการจัดกิจกรรมศิลปะสร้างสรรค์ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ เด็กปฐมวัยที่มีอายุระหว่าง 4 - 5 ปี จํานวน 28 คน ศึกษาอยู่ในชั้น อนุบาลปีที่ 1 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2554 โรงเรียนอนุบาลห้วยทับทัน จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ ซึ่งได้มา โดยการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย คู่มือการจัดกิจกรรมศิลปะสร้างสรรค์ และแบบทดสอบความเข้าใจด้านจำนวนของเด็กปฐมวัย สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าที ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) เด็กปฐมวัยที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมศิลปะสร้างสรรค์มี ความสามารถด้านการนับจำนวนหลังการทดลองสูงกว่าก่อนการทดลอง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ ระดับ .01 และ (2) เด็กปฐมวัยที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมศิลปะสร้างสรรค์มีความสามารถในการรู้ค่า จํานวนหลังการทดลองสูงกว่าก่อนการทดลอง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01
The objectives of this research were (1) to compare preschool children’s number counting abilities before and after undertaking creative art activities; and (2) to compare preschool children’s abilities to recognize the value of numbers before and after undertaking creative art activities. The sample comprised 28 preschool children, 4 - 5 years old, who were studying in the second kindergarten level during the second semester of the 2011 academic year at Huai Thap Than Kindergarten in Si Sa Ket Province, obtained by cluster sampling. The employed instruments consisted of a handbook for organizing creative art activities, and a test on preschool children’s concept of numbers.Statistics employed for data analysis were the mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The research findings showed that (1) the post-experiment number counting ability of preschool children undertaking creative arts activities was significantly higher, at the .05 level, than their pre-experiment counterpart; and (2) the post-experiment ability to recognize the value of numbers of preschool children undertaking creative art activities was significantly higher, at the .05 level, than their pre-experiment counterpart.
