This study is intended to create a safety management manual for the transportation of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for relevant employees, drivers, staff, managers and other interested persons. To prepare the safety management manual for LPG transportation, data collection and review were undertaken on the history of the company, organizational chart, responsibilities, business management, statistics of accidents that occurred on LPG transportation, operations of LPG loading-unloading and transportation, types of cylinders and related equipment, and laws related to LPG transportation and safety management. Based on the information collected, the manual was prepared containing six chapters: (1) background and significance of problem; (2) description of organization; (3) analysis of organization; (4) types of cylinders and related equipment; (5) laws related to transportation of liquefied petroleum gas; and (6) management of safety on loading-unloading and transportation of LPG to ensure the safety of lives and properties of workers and the people in surrounding communities
