Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความเข้าใจในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปี ที่ 3 โรงเรียนพิมานพิทยาสรรค์ก่อนและหลังการเรียนโดยใช้บทอ่านเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกบท้องถิ่นจังหวัดสตูลกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครูงนี้ได้แก่นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปี ที่ 3 ที่เรียนในรายวิชา ภาษาอังกฤษพื้นฐาน ( อ 23101) ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2561 จำนวน 40 คน โดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มแบบกลุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ 1) บทอ่านที่มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวท้องถิ่นจังหวัดสตูล 2)แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้และ3) แบบทดสอบวัดความเข้าใจในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าทีผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปี ที่ 3 โรงเรียนพิมานพิทยาสรรค์ที่เรียนการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษโดยใช้บทอ่านที่มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกบท้องถิ่นจังหวัดสตูล มีคะแนนความเข้าใจในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
The purpose of this research was to compare English reading comprehension scores of Mathayom Suksa III students of Phiman Phittayasan School before and after learning by using English reading articles with contents concerning local places of Satun province. The research sample consisted of 40 Mathayom Suksa III students who enrolled in the Basic English Language Course (Eng: 23101) during the first semester of the 2017 academic year at Phiman Phittayasan School in Satun province, obtained by cluster sampling. The employed research instruments were (1) reading articles with contents concerning local places of Satun province, (2) learning management plans, and (3) an English reading comprehension test. Statistics employed for data analysis were the mean, standard division, and t-test. The research findings showed that the post-learning English reading comprehension scores of Mathayom Suksa III students at Phimanphittayasan School who learned by using English reading articles with contents concerning local places of Satun province were significantly higher than their pre-learning counterpart scores at the .05 level of statistical significance.
