การศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อความเครียดของเจ้าหน้าที่ราชทัณฑ์ในเรือนจำอำเภอปากพนัง

Abstract

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ระดับความเครียดของเจ้าหน้าที่ราชทัณฑ์เรือนจำอำเภอปากพนัง 2) ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อความเครียดของเจ้าหน้าที่ราชทัณฑ์เรือนจำอำเภอปากพนัง 3) เสนอแนะแนวทางในการพัฒนาปรับปรุง การลดความเครียดของเจ้าหน้าที่ราชทัณฑ์เรือนจำอำเภอปากพนัง การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการศึกษาแบบผสมวิธีประชากร คือ เจ้าหน้าที่ของเรือนจำอำเภอปากพนัง จำนวน 55 ราย กลุ่มตัวอย่างกำหนดจากประชากรทั้งหมด และผู้บริหารของราชทัณฑ์เรือนจำอำเภอปากพนัง จำนวน 6 คน ใช้วิธการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือการศึกษาที่ใช้ ประกอบด้วย แบบสอบถาม และแบบสัมภาษณ์วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณ โดยใช้สถิติการหาค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และ ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน และการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพในการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการศึกษา พบว่า 1) ระดับความเครียดของเจ้าหน้าที่ราชทัณฑ์เรือนจำอำเภอปากพนัง อยู่ในระดับต่ำ 2) ปัจจัยด้านจำนวนผู้ต้องขัง ด้านจำนวนเจ้าหน้าที่ ด้านกฎระเบียบ ข้อบังคับในการปฏิบัติงาน ด้านสภาพพื้นที่ในเรือนจำด้านบทบาทหน้าที่ และความรับผิดชอบ และด้านการทำงานมีความสัมพันธ์ในทิศ ทางบวก กับความเครียดของเจ้าหน้าที่ราชทัณฑ์เรือนจำอำเภอปากพนัง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ 0.05 3) แนวทางในการพัฒนา ปรับปรุง และลดความเครียดของเจ้าหน้าที่ราชทัณฑ์เรือนจำอำเภอปากพนัง คือการลดจำนวนผู้ต้องขัง การเพิ่มจำนวนเจ้าที่ราชทัณฑ์ การปรับปรุงกฎหมายให้สอดคล้องกับการปฏิบัติงานในปัจจุบัน การจัดคนให้เหมาะสมกับงาน ให้ความสำคัญด้านความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างบุคคล และการจัดสวัสดิการให้กับเจ้าหน้าที่อย่างเพียงพอ เพื่อบรรเทา และลดความเครียด

The objectives of this study were to study (1) level of the correctional officers stress in Pakpanang Districr Prison, (2) factors related to the correctional officers stress in Pakpanang District Prison, (3) guidelines to develop, improve and reduce the correctional officers stress in PakpanangDistrict Prison. The study was a mix method. Population was 55 officers who had been working for the Pakpanang District Prison and samples were determined from the total population, and 6 executives for qualitative study. Sampling method was purposive Sampling. Research tools comprised of a questionnaire and an interview form. Statistics employed frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and content analysis. The finding revealed that 1) level of the correctional officers stress in Pakpanang District Prison was at low level; 2) factors related number of prisoners, number of officers, rules and regulations in operation, space in the prison, roles, duties and responsibilities and work had positive correlated with the correctional officers stress in Pakpanang District Prison at statistical significance level at 0.05; and 3) guidelines to develop, improve and reduce the correctional officers stress in Pakpanang District Prison were the decreasing number of prisoners, increasing number of correctional officers, improving of laws align with the current practice, putting the right man on the right job, interpersonal relationships, providing welfare to relieve and reduce the stress to encourage the officers.
