ความต้องการศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการศึกษา สำหรับนักศึกษา คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการศึกษาของนักศึกษาคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักศึกษาคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2558 จำนวน 333 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่า ความต้องการศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อการศึกษา ของนักศึกษาคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเขียงใหม่ โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมากเมื่อพิจารณารายด้านพบว่า ค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุดในแต่ละด้านได้แก่ (1) ด้านประเภทของสื่อนักศึกษามีความต้องการ สื่ออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ คือ บทเรียนออนไลน์ (e - Learning) (2) ด้านสถานที่และสภาพแวดล้อม นักศึกษามีความต้องการสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก คือการให้บริการเชื่อมต่ออินเตอร์เน็ตแบบไร้สาย (3) ด้านบุคลากร นักศึกษามีความต้องการบุคลากรสายสนับสนุน คือ นักวิทยาศาสตร์ และ (4) ด้านนิทรรศการ นักศึกษามีความต้องการนิทรรศการเรื่อง พลังงานจากแหล่งธรรมชาติ

The purpose of this research was to study the needs for science education center of students in the Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University. The research sample consisted of 333 students in the Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University during the second semester of the 2015 academic year. The employed research instrument was a questionnaire. Statistics for data analysis were the percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Research findings showed that the overall need for science education center of students in the Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University was at the high level. When specific aspects of the needs were considered, it was found that the items receiving the highest rating mean in specific aspects of the needs were the following: (1) in the aspect of category of media, the students had the need for electronic media, i.e. e-learning lessons; (2) in the aspect of buildings and environment, the students had the need for facilities such as the provision of Wi-Fi services; (3) in the aspect of personnel, the students had the need for supporting personnel, i.e. scientists; and (4) in the aspect of exhibition, the students had the need for exhibition on the topic of Energy from Natural Sources.
