ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจลงคะแนนเสียงเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎร : กรณีศึกษาการเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรแบบแบ่งเขตเลือกตั้ง เขตเลือกตั้งที่ 16 กรุงเทพมหานคร พ.ศ. 2548

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อคึกษาถึง (1) ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจลงคะแนนเสียงเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎร (2) การตัดสินใจลงคะแนนเสียงเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรของประชาชน (3) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจกับการตัดสินใจลงคะแนนเสียงเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎร ประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ ผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรในเขตเลือกตั้งที่ 16 (พื้นที่เขตบางเขน) กรุงเทพมหานคร จำนวน 400 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใชั ได้แก่ การแจกแจงความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและค่าไคสแควร์ ผลการคึกษาวิจัยพบว่า ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจลงคะแนนเสียงเสือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎร ได้แก่ ปัจจัยด้านผู้สมัคร ปัจจัยด้านพรรคการเมือง ปัจจัยด้านรูปแบบการหาเสียงและปัจจัยด้านเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้ง จุดเด่นหรือลักษณะสำคัญที่สุดในด้านคุณสมบัติของผู้สมัครคือ เป็นคนดีมีความรู้ความสามารถ ในด้านพรรคการเมืองคือ มีนโยบายที่ดี และในด้านรูปแบบการหาเสียงของผู้สมัคร คือ การที่ผู้สมัครเข้าถึงตัวผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้ง ในการตัดสินใจลงคะแนนเสียงให้กับ ผู้สมัครรับเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎร กลุ่มตัวอย่างให้ความสำคัญสูงสุด คือ ปัจจัยด้านผู้สมัครรองลงมาคือ พรรคการเมือง และรูปแบบการหาเสียง ตามลำดับ ผลการทดสอบสมมุติฐานพบว่า ปัจจัยด้านผู้สมัครและปัจจัยด้านเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้ง ได้แก่ อายุ อาชีพและรายได้ มีความสัมพันธ์กับการตัดสินใจลงคะแนนเสียงเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรแบบแบ่งเขตเลือกตั้งแต่ปัจจัยด้านพรรคการเมือง ปัจจัยด้านรูปแบบการหาเสียง และปัจจัยด้านเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของผู้มีสิทธ์เลือกตั้ง ได้แก่ เพศ ระดับการศึกษา สถานภาพทางครอบครัวและระยะเวลาการอาศัยอยู่ในพื้นที่ไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการตัดสินใจลงคะแนนเสียงเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรแบบแบ่งเขตเลือกตั้ง

The objectives of this research were to study: (I) factors that affect people’s voting decisions in the Members of the House of Representatives election; (2) people’s voting decisions in the Members of the House of Representatives election; and (3) the relationship between factors that affect voting decisions and voting decisions in the Members of the House of Representatives election. The sample population consisted of 400 citizens with voting rights in Constituency 16th (Bang Khen District), Bangkok. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using frequencies, percentages, arithmetic means, standard deviation and Chi Square. The results showed that the factors that affected people’s voting decisions were factors involving the candidate, the political party, the campaign methods and the voter’s socioeconomic status. The most important characteristic of a candidates was being a good, knowledgeable and capable person. For parties, the most important thing was having good policies. For campaigns, the most important thing was the candidate’s ability to approach the voters. The sample put the highest priority on the candidate, followed by the party, then the campaign. Tests of the hypotheses showed that factors involving the candidate and the socioeconomic factors of age, profession and income were related to voting decisions in the Constituency Representatives Election, but factors involving the party, the campaign methods and other socioeconomic factors (sex, educational level, family status, and duration of residence in the electoral zone) were not related to voting decisions in the Election
