Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) สังเคราะห์คุณลักษณะงานวิจัย คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม (2) สังเราะห์ความคลาดเคลื่อนของการใช้สถิติในวิทยานิพนธ์คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม (3) ประเมินคุณภาพวิทยานิพนธ์คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม และ (4) เปรียบเทียบคุณภาพวิทยานิพนธ์คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ วิทยานิพนธ์การศึกษามหาบัณฑิต คณะศึกษาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม ที่เผยแพร่ ระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2554 - 2556 จำนวน 194 เรื่อง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบบันทึกคุณลักษณะงานวิจัย แบบบันทึกความคลาดเคลื่อนการใช้สถิติและแบบประเมินคุณภาพวิทยานิพนธ์ ซึ่งได้ผลการวิจัย ดังนี้ 1) ผลการสังเคราะห์วิทยานิพนธ์ตามคุณลักษณะพบว่าปีการศึกษา พ.ศ. 2555 มีการพิมพ์เผยแพร่ผลงานวิทยานิพนธ์มากที่สุด สาขาที่ผลิตผลงานมากที่สุดคือ สาขาวิชาหลักสูตรและการสอน รูปแบบของงานวิจัยส่วนใหญ่เป็นการวิจัยเชิงทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์การวิจัยเพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลการเรียนการสอน ขณะที่ในส่วนของการใช้สถิติ พบว่า (1) มีการใช้สถิติเชิงบรรยายเป็นส่วนมาก ได้แก่ การหาค่าฉลี่ย ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ดัชนีประสิทธิผล และค่าประสิทธิภาพ (2) ส่วนการใช้สถิติอ้างอิงพารามตรึกส่วนใหญ่ ได้แก่ สถิติทตสอบ Hoteling's T' และ (3) การใช้สถิติอ้างอิงนอนพาราเมตริกส่วนใหญ่จะใช้สถิติทตสอบ Wilcoxon signed-zanks test 2) ผลการสังเคราะห์ความคลาดเคลื่อนของการใช้สถิติในวิทยานิพนธ์ พบว่า ส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากความดลาดเคลื่อนด้านการฝ่าฝืนข้อตกลงเบื้องต้น จำนวนทั้งหมด 249 แห่ง รองลงมาคือ ความคลาดเคลื่อนต้านการแปลผลค่าสถิติ จำนวนทั้งหมด 22 แห่ง ความคลาดเคลื่อนด้านการนำเสนอ
The objectives of this research were (1) to synthesize the characteristics of graduate research in the Faculty of Education, Mahasarakham University; (2) to synthesize statistical errors of graduate research in the Faculty of Education, Mahasarakham University; (3) to evaluate the quality of graduate research in the Faculty of Education, Mahasarakham University; and (4) to compare the quality of graduate research in the Faculty of Education, Mahasarakham University. The population of this study comprised 194 master’s theses published during B.E. 2554-2556 in the Faculty of Education, Mahasarakham University. The employed research instruments were a research characteristics conclusion form, statistical errors record form, and research quality evaluation form. Thus research findings were as follows: 1) regarding characteristics of graduate research, it was found that most research studies were published in B.E. 2555; were in the program of curriculum and instruction; employed an experimental design with the aim to compare learning achievements; analyzed the data by using (1) descriptive statistics, namely the mean, standard deviation, effectiveness index, and efficiency index; (2) parametric statistics: Hoteling’s T2 ; and (3) non-parametric statistics: the Wilcoxon signed-ranks test; 2)regarding statistical errors in graduate research, it was found that most errors arose from violating statistical assumptions as 249 errors were detected ; discrepancies in the interpretation of statistics as 22 errors were detected; inconsistencies in the presentation as 18 errors were detected; and inappropriate use of statistics as 4 errors were detected; 3) regarding evaluation of graduate research quality, it was found that 88.66 percent of the research studies were rated “good”, and 11.34 percent were rated “very good” with the average overall of quality of 4.11, and 0.32 standard deviation; and 4) regarding the comparison of research quality, it was found that difference in the publication year, filed of study, research content, and research design affected the quality of research at the 0.05 level of significance
