ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อราคามะพร้าวในประเทศไทย

Abstract

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อราคามะพร้าวใน ประเทศไทย ได้แก่ ปริมาณผลผลิตมะพร้าวในประเทศไทย ราคามะพร้าวในตลาดโลก ดัชนีราคา ผู้บริโภค และอัตราแลกเปลี่ยนการศึกษาใช้ข้อมูลอนุกรมเวลารายเดือน ตั้งแต่ เดือนมกราคม พ.ศ. 2555 ถึงเดือน กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2561 รวมทั้งสิ้น 79 ตัวอย่าง สำหรับการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้การถดถอยพหุคูณจากฟังก์ชันลอการิทึมเพื่ออธิบายความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวแปร ผลการศึกษาพบว่าปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อราคามะพร้าวในประเทศไทย ได้แก่ ราคา มะพร้าวในตลาดโลกและดัชนีราคาผู้บริโภค กล่าวคือ เมื่อราคามะพร้าวในตลาดโลกเพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 1 จะทำ ให้ราคามะพร้าวในประเทศไทยเพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 1.42 และเมื่อดัชนีราคาผู้บริโภคเพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 1 จะทำ ให้ราคามะพร้าวในประเทศเพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 7.35 โดยแบบจำลองที่ประมาณการขึ้นสามารถอธิบายราคามะพร้าวในประเทศไทยได้ร้อยละ 67.09 ในขณะที่การผลิตมะพร้าวในประเทศและอัตราแลกเปลี่ยนไม่มีอิทธิพลต่อราคามะพร้าวในประเทศไทย

The main purpose of this study is to analyze factors that influence the coconut prices in Thailand including production quantity of coconuts in Thailand, price of coconuts in the world market, consumer price index, and exchange rate. The study employs monthly time series data over the period of January 2012 to July 2018, a total of 79 observations. The data analysis applies multiple regression based on logarithm function to explain the relationship between variables. The results showed that factors influencing the coconut prices in Thailand including coconut prices in the world market and consumer prices index. That is, when the price of coconuts in the world market increases by 1 percent, it causes the price of coconuts in Thailand to increase by 1.42 percent, and when the consumer price index increases by 1 percent, it causes the price of coconuts in the country to increase by 7.35 percent. The estimated model can explain the price of coconut in Thailand by 67.09%. However, the production of coconuts in Thailand and the exchange rate do not influence the price of coconuts in Thailand.
