การศึกษาวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยเพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสภาพสังคมและเศรษฐกิจของเกษตรกรผู้ผลิตปาล์มน้ำมันของเกษตรกรอำเภอกะเปอร์จังหวัดระนอง 2) ศึกษาระดับความรู้ของเกษตรกรเกี่ยวกับการจัดการการผลิตปาล์มน้ำมันตามมาตรฐานการปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดี 3) ศึกษาการปฏิบัติการจัดการการผลิตปาล์มน้ำมันของเกษตรกร 4) ศึกษาต้นทุนและผลตอบแทนของเกษตรกร และ 5) ศึกษาปัญหาและ
ความต้องการในการจัดการการผลิตปาล์มน้ำมันของเกษตรกร
วิธีวิจัยเป็นวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ ประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ คือเกษตรกรผู้ผลิตปาล์มน้ำมันที่ได้รับมาตรฐานการปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดีในอำเภอกะเปอร์ จังหวัดระนอง พ.ศ. 2558 ทั้งหมดจำนวน 45 ราย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ คือ แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละค่าสูงสุด ค่าต่ำสุด ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) เกษตรกรเป็นเพศชายมากกว่าเพศหญิง มีอายุเฉลี่ย 53.56 ปี การศึกษาส่วนใหญ่จบระดับประถมศึกษา สมาชิกครัวเรือนเฉลี่ย 4 คน ส่วนใหญ่มีที่ดินทำกินเป็นของตนเอง เกษตรกรมากกว่าร้อยละ 50 ใช้เงินทุนของตนเอง สภาพพื้นที่การปลูกส่วนใหญ่เป็นที่ดอนและใช้น้ำฝนเป็นแหล่งน้ำ
หลักในการผลิตปาล์มน้ำมัน 2) เกษตรกรมีความรู้เกี่ยวกับการจัดการสวนปาล์มน้ำมันตามข้อกำหนดมาตรฐานการปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดี ในระดับมาก 3) เกษตรกรใช้พันธุ์ปาล์มน้ำมันลูกผสมเทเนอร่า ซึ่งซื้อมาจากบริษัท เกษตรใส่ปุ๋ยตามผลวิเคราะห์ดินและใบปาล์มน้ำมัน และมีการใส่ปุ๋ยอินทรีย์ร่วมด้วย มีการใช้ทางใบปาล์มน้ำมันคลุมดิน ใช้เทคนิคการกำจัดศัตรูพืชแบบผสมผสาน และไม่มีการตัดปาล์มดิบ
เกษตรกรมีการจดบันทึกข้อมูลน้อย 4) ต้นทุนการผลิตปาล์มน้ำมันเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 4,421.06 บาทต่อไร่ผลตอบแทนเฉลี่ยทั้งหมด 14,350.64 บาทต่อไร่ และกำไรเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 9,929.58 บาทต่อไร่ 5) ปัญหาของเกษตรกรมีในระดับน้อย โดยมีประเด็นด้านการตลาด คือราคาผลผลิตไม่แน่นอน เกษตรกรมีความต้องการให้มีเจ้าหน้าที่เข้ามาส่งเสริมในการรวมกลุ่มเพื่อประกันราคาปาล์มน้ำมันสำหรับเกษตรกรที่ได้รับมาตรฐานการปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดีเช่นเดียวกับพืชชนิดอื่น
The objectives of this research were to 1) study about social and economic conditions of oil palm farmers of Kapoe District, Ranong Province 2) study the knowledge levels of farmers about oil palm management under GAP Certification 3) study the practices in oil palm production management of farmers 4) study costs and returns on oil palm production of farmers 5) study problems and needs of farmers in managing in oil palm production. This research was a survey research. The population and sample group was 45 oil palm farmers who received the GAP certification in Kapoe District, Ranong Province in 2018. Data was collected by survey and was analyzed by using frequency, percentage, maximum value, minimum value, mean, and standard deviation. The results showed that 1) there were more male farmers than female farmers with an average age of 53.56 years old. Most of the farmers completed primary school education and average family members of 4 people. Most of them have their own land for farming. More than 50% of farmers used their own fund for farming. The farming land was mainly in a highland and used rain water as a main water resource in oil palm production. 2 ) Farmers were equipped with knowledge about oil palm production under GAP certification at a high level. 3 ) Farmers used 'Tenor hybrid' oil palm from the company. Farmers used fertilizer according to the analysis of soil and oil palm leaves, with organic fertilizers and used of oil palm leaves covering the ground. Used integrated pest management. And non-cutting of young oil palm products. However, farmers recorded a little information. 4) The costs of oil palm production was 4,421.06 baht/rai while the returns was 14,350.64 baht/rai and the profit of 9 ,9 2 9 .5 8 baht/rai. 5 ) Problems of farmers were at a low level by having an issue about unpredictable marker price. Farmers would like to have agricultural extension officer to come in and promote the farmer group formation in order to guarantee oil palm price for farmers who received GAP certification as well as other type of plants.
