วัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษาค้นคว้าอิสระนี้จัดทำขึ้น เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาวิธีการวิเคราะห์สินเชื่อ ของ ธนาคารกรุงเทพ จำกัด (มหาชน) สำนักธุรกิจพลับพลาไชย 2) ศึกษาปัญหาและอุปสรรคใน
การพิจารณาสินเชื่อ ของ ธนาคารกรุงเทพ จำกัด (มหาชน) สำนักธุรกิจพลับพลาไชย วิธีดำเนินการศึกษาทำโดยการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลทุติยภูมิ ของกลุ่มลูกค้าประเภทธุรกิจ และกลุ่มลูกค้าประเภทบุคคลของ ธนาคารกรุงเทพ จำกัด (มหาชน) สำนักธุรกิจพลับพลาไชย ที่ ได้รับอนุมัติสินเชื่อในช่วงระยะเวลาระหว่างเดือนกรกฎาคม 2554 ถึง เดือนธันวาคม 2554 แบ่งเป็น
ลูกค้าสินเชื่อขนาดใหญ่ จำนวน 30 ราย ลูกค้าสินเชื่อขนาดกลาง จำนวน 40 ราย ลูกค้าสินเชื่อขนาด จำนวน 40 ราย และลูกค้าสินเชื่อเพื่อการอุปโภคและบริโภค จำนวน 40 ราย ผลจากการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิดังกล่าว 1) ก่อนวิกฤติเศรษฐกิจ ปี 2540 ธนาคาร มี รูปแบบการให้สินเชื่อในลักษณะการวิเคราะห์สินเชื่อโดยรวม ทำให้ไม่สามารถแยกปัจจัยเสี่ยงของ ลูกค้าแต่ละกลุ่มได้ เกิดปัญหาหนี้ NPLs เป็นจำนวนสูง ต่อมาธนาคารได้ทำการพัฒนาและปรับปรุง วิธีการพิจารณาสินเชื่อ ทั้งในส่วนของการวางแผนสินเชื่อ การพิจารณาและอนุมัติสินเชื่อ และการ ติดตามดูแลสินเชื่อ ทำให้คุณภาพสินเชื่อของธนาคารดีขึ้น อัตราส่วนสินเชื่อด้อยคุณภาพลดลงอย่าง มาก ฐานะทางการเงินและผลประกอบการของธนาคารดีขึ้นเป็นลำดับ 2) ปัญหาและอุปสรรคใน
การพิจารณาสินเชื่อเกิดจากหลายปัจจัย ได้แก่ ข้อกำหนดของ ธปท. ความถูกต้องแม่นยำของข้อมูล การวิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบข้อมูลกับธุรกิจในอุตสาหกรรมเดียวกัน อัตราส่วนทางการเงินของแต่ละ ธุรกิจที่ไม่เท่ากัน รวมถึงอุปนิสัยของผู้บริหารที่ต่างกัน ดังนั้น เจ้าหน้าที่อำนวยสินเชื่อควรต้อง ปฏิบัติตนเสมือนเป็นที่ปรึกษาทางการเงินของลูกค้า เพื่อให้เป็นที่ไว้วางใจ ทำให้ลูกค้าเปิดเผย

The purposes of this study were 1) to analyze and improve the credit approval 2) to study the problem and obtrack from the credit approval processes of Bangkok Bank PLC. (BBL) The study has gathered the information by using secondary data of the business customer and retails customer of BBL, Business Center Plubplachai which approved the credit line during July 2011 to December 2011. The data was consisted of 30 large business customers, 40 medium business customers, 40 small business customers and 40 retail customers. The results of analyzing the secondary data, 1) before the economic crisis in year 1997 Bangkok Bank PLC. (BBL) had credit approval process without considering the risk factor of each customer. Therefore, BBL had a lot of the non performing loan (NPLs). Then, BBL had development and improvement the credit processes which are portfolio planning, portfolio analysis and portfolio monitoring; it is not only high quality credit portfolio increasing but also the bank performance and position increasing. The NPLs has huge decreased. 2) the problem and obstruct from credit approval process come from many factors such as the Bank of Thailand regulations, data correctness, industry information data analysis, financial ratio of each business and management style differences. Therefore, the credit officer should work as financial consultant of the customer. It will be trusted and disclosed the information by the customer which are the necessary to consider and analyze the credit.
