Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ระบุตัวแปรทางการเงินที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับผลตอบแทนหุ้นสามัญในตลาดหลักทรัพย์เอ็ม เอ ไอ (2) ศึกษาบทบาทความสัมพันธ์ของอัตราส่วนราคาตลาดต่อมูลค่าตามบัญชีกับผลตอบแทนหุ้นสามัญและ (3) วิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างมูลค่าราคาตลาดกับผลตอบแทนหุ้นสามัญในตลาดหลักทรัพย์เอ็ม เอ ไอ การวิจัยใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิชี่งเก็บรวบรวมจากงบการเงิน เอกสารต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องของบริษัทจดทะเบียน 42 บริษัทและจาก SET SMART เป็นรายสัปดาห์ในช่วงเวลาตั้งแต่ วันที่ 3 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2549 ถึง 28 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2550 รวมทั้งสิ้น 104 สัปดาห์ วิเคราะห์หาค่าความสัมพันธ์โดยวิธีทดสอบสมการถดถอยภาคลัดขวางและการคำนวณค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์เพียร์สัน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า (1) อัตราส่วนกระแสเงินสดต่อทุ้นต่อราคาตลาดหุ้นสามัญ และอัตราส่วนราคาตลาดต่อมูลค่าตามบัญชีมีความสัมพันธ์ในทางบวกกับอัตราผลตอบแทนหุ้นสามัญ
อัตราส่วนราคาตลาดต่อกำไรต่อหุ้น และมูลค่าหลักทรัพย์ตามราคาตลาดมีความสัมพันธ์ในทางลบกับอัตราผลตอบแทนหุ้นสามัญ ณ ระดับนัยสำคัญ 0.01 และค่าเบต้าไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับอัตราผลตอบแทนทุนสามัญในตลาดหลักทรัพย์เอ็ม เอ ไอ (2) อัตราส่วนราคาตลาดต่อมูลค่าตามบัญชีมีบทบาทในการกำหนดราคาและแสดงความเสี่ยงของหุ้นเพิ่มขึ้นเมื่อทำการวิเคราะห์ร่วมกับตัวแปรทางการเงินอื่นที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับอัตราผลตอบแทนทุนสามัญ และ
(3) มูลค่าหลักทรัพย์ตามราคาตลาดสามารถอธิบายความเคลื่อนไหวในทางลบที่มีต่ออัตราผลตอบแทนหุ้นสามัญแมัว่าจะทำการวิเคราะห์ร่วมกับตัวแปรทางการเงินอื่น.
The objectives of this research were : (1) to specify relationship between financial factors and stock return in the Market for Alternative Investment (MAI); (2) to study the role of relationship between price per book value ratio and stock return; and (3) to analyze of the relationship between market capitalization and stock return in the MAI. This research used secondary data of weekly data obtained form financial statement, related document and SET SMART database of 42 companies in the MAI, over the period January 3,2006 to December 28,2007, totally 104 weeks. Cross section regression and Pearson’s correlation coefficient are utilized to analyze and measure relationship The results of this study were that : (1) cash flow per share per price ratio and price per book value ratio had positive relationship with the stock return in the positive direction while the price per earning ratio and market capitalization had relationship negative at the statistically significant level of 0.01 and beta had statistically relationship the stock return in the MAI; (2) price per book value ratio had the role to determine stock price value and unsystematic risk of stock was increasing when analysis with other significant financial factors relating to stock returns; and (3) market capitalization was able to explain negative movement of stock return although analysis was alone with other financial factor.
